So Beyoncé lost to Adele because Grammys are racist??

Or because it's fucking Adele!!!

I mean I try to leave my perspective as a white girl behind and to see it from another perspective and I get where people are coming from most of the time but not in this case

That's pure bullshit

Adele's music transcends genres

You can't even compare them imo

Her last album was trash. Had she won for 19 or 21 I would buy it.

But nah I don't see how She won. And Beyoncé's music does the same. She also transcends genres.

And the Grammys like most whitewashed and geared award shows are.

It's written in history.

Because if you're of color and you lose against a white person it's automatically racist.

Sore losers with huge egos just can not believe they could actually be out done. Especially Beyonce.. who has her fans worship her like a queen.

I could be wrong, but I doubt Beyonce thinks its racist...Guilty white people like Sufjan Stevens have whined more than the black people I've seen interviewed:

People are being so full of BS. In my opinion, Beyonce is probably THE most overrated artist of our time. Yes, I like some of her music but people make her seem wayyy more legendary than she really is. It's like they think she's a god, like that's just ridiculous. Really I don't see any of her songs as legendary and timeless. People claiming the race card are just being immature. Like grow up just because Adele is white doesnt mean that's why she won. Beyonce has won plenty of Grammys. Adele won because she deserved it, her voice is powerful and effortless, and her lyrics have touching meaning to it. Beyonces new album was horrible, Im sorry but there is not one good song from her album "Lemonade". Im not white just for the record, and I dont hate Beyonces music, she used to make music that I like, but I just get annoyed at how high on a pedestal people put her on. I think their are alot of other artists more talented than her, like Alicia Keys for instance. She composes a lot of her own songs too, where Beyonce on the other hand... she's just very overrated sorry

Dude, some of her best stuff was with Destiny's Child, tbh. I loved Destiny's child when I was in high school.

People have been dumbed down to worship mediocrity. Is Beyonce talented vocally? Yes. But she has one hell of a marketing team that makes up for the rest and people bought into it, hook, line, and sinker. I don't hate Beyonce, and I don't love her, but I do not understand the cult following she's developed. But what I do understand that usually, those who worship her, are those easily impressed by the dumbest shit, so you have to consider the source at this point.

I agree, there are plenty of far more talented artists out there that could out do her easily, Adele included. I loved that she won over Beyonce. It's nice to see talent overcome hype in such a kiss ass, political industry.
