Woman Posts Ring She Found In Her Boyfriend’s Drawer To A Ring-Shaming Group And Is Dragged Herself

Nov 9, 2018 By Alexandra.Romero

A woman is currently being dragged on the internet after she tried to shame her boyfriend over the engagement ring he’d gotten for her. The woman took to a Facebook group to post a photo of the ring she’d found while snooping through his things. Disappointed by it, she encouraged others to make fun of the ring as well and provide suggestions for how to say no when the inevitable proposal came.

Thats pretty shallow!

My ex got the ring I wanted fortunately

I never had one. I said as soon as we started dating that I don’t wear jewelry and I hate gifts with passion!

And I made sure I made face so he believed me after he bought me the watch! 🤮😂😂😂

I wanted a big ring and I got it...

Now Id be fine with a band...

I dont care so much anymore

i think that wording goes in the same box as "could care less" and "supposably" and "irregardless".

She could be on Internet forever but when she posted about the ring she was ‘dragged’ trough the mud of shame. Think outside of the box...

Also there IS British English as supposed to American English where we don’t use ‘shall we’ and such because more modern American English is a shorter version of an original English that is described as British English just for the sake of explanation of absence of some words or different meaning of words like ‘chips’ vs French fries etc.

it says "dragged on" not "dragged through".

you're talking about regional vocabulary. it's still the same language. "could care less" still makes no sense and "irregardless" is still not a word in any bastardised version of english.

Dragged is a colloquialism. Verbally berated/attacked, normally by a group of people. Like getting roasted.

i have honestly never heard that. perhaps i don't know it because it is colloquial ie not used in ordinary conversation and therefore in the same bucket as "supposably" or probably more accurately "prideful" for when people mean proud.

my point stands.

No it doesn’t! If you don’t know something and you were explained and your point stands it means you aren’t intelligent enough.
