Originally I was watching this video and had to pause it to google and get some info.. Personally I don't believe in any legends about "bigfoot" , but the theory of criminals who got away sounds far more plausible.
Just started watching this doc

Posted by Arielle83Kinda like William tyrell case here, but I think pedo got him.
I know this one. Watched a few years back, very sad indeed. I used to binge watch NCMEC and other related videos. No news about him? if I remember correctly there was a witness who claimed to see the bigfoot behind the pine tree. If there was any truth in legends it has to be confirmed by now.

LOL, you didn't disappoint me.
If anything, I should be paying more attention. I live in Tennessee.

I stopped reading at "wrote a series of books". Another racketeer retelling bunch of myths and halftruths and charging you for it ๐

The link provided is from reddit that tells a true story that happened to a person hiking alone in the wilderness. The link does not have anything with the cases of missing persons, we can only speculate that those cases may be connected somehow.
To say a little bit about disappearance of Dennis, it sounds super suspicious, especially the fact that investigation has been avoided intentionally. Officials didn't want to find the child for some reason. At least that's what it feels like to me. Also keep on mind that you don't involve green berets for no reason and it is again very suspicious as to what exactly they were doing there and who summoned them, as well FBI . I suggest you do little research about the case. As for Paulides he attempted to draw more attention to unexplainable recurring disappearances. He did a great job, it's still unclear what's going on there in the woods and why do people tend to vanish more in those places than anywhere else in the states.
Green berets and FBI called I'd like to think government hides something from public eye. And what exactly is this - I don't know.
It's really weird why they didn't even want to consider the Key Family's statements
Also, where are the other Martins?

Was watching a video about Dennis Martin, who disappeared in the great smoky mountains national park TN , in June 1969. No trace of the child has ever been found. The most important lead to the case has not been investigated by officials and has been dismissed, as irrelevant.
Rumors (quite believable) has been spread that somethings going on in the woods, people disappear never to be seen or heard again.. Paulides, who particularly was working on the Martin's case wrote the series of books under the name - Missing 411 . I must admit I have not read them yet.
I googled to find out more and one topic caught my eye on reddit ( https://www.reddit.com/r/nosleep/comments/85d3ug/the_wild_men_of_the_mountains/ )
Felt need to share for everyone who loves hiking like me, be very cautious and never go anywhere alone ..
