So who went to the premier the other night? I sure did, even though I'm not a huge fan I'll sure be watching the movies again to revise the story,I think that's what makes a good sequel, making you want to catch up on older editions.

I would suggest watching this movie in 3D there are times where your gut drops in the flight scenes, the cinematography is divine and I love the sense of depth and scale of some of the scenes....I loved the black man in the movie and the famous cameos even Chanel#2 from scream queens was in there.

As a lover of sci fi genre I highly rate this movie as something to be enjoyed through the holidays, I even got my BF the memorabilia sip cup....

I do not suggest however going to a premier EVER! There are just too many weirdos in costumes and there's always people walking around brushing past me I just wanted to grab them by the shoulders and say Just fucking stand still you stupid cunt, you don't need to be here there and everywhere at once, just stay in line and watch the fucking movie......I even legit told my BF not to panic even though I was the one freaking out about being amongst a lot of people, it's really sad that I'm a 6ft tall black man but when I line up at movies I have anxiety issues lol.

it's pretty much a remake/rehash of the first 3 movies. It's assumed, but I hope they move to new ideas for the next installments.
It's a bit grating that everything revolves around the old protagonists and their family. 80 years old Harrison ford wearing the same old jacket and doing the same old butter kind of ruins the movie a bit.
It's good, but it's a pity that the prequels exist because you'd need to wipe them off your memory to really enjoy this.
Just don't go see it expecting anything that you haven't already seen in the original trilogy.

1. Nothing
2. That's why I commented; I just now noticed. In case you weren't aware, profiles didn't used to show on the avatar before the most recent upgrade when you're on a mobile phone.

SO read some reviews and it comes down to "it's not terrible and it's not phenomenal, and it’s not a waste of money to see it on the big screen".

I still will see it in the theater. Now, Avatar is one that I'm glad I didn't waste $ 15 on.

I think it's impossible to recreate the effect of the very first Star Wars. I think too many people go in with those kinds of expectations and get disappointed.

I'm still looking forward to seeing it.

The Boy and I saw it in the regular format and loved it. Felt it recaptured the heart of the original three films. Gonna see it again next week and take the girls.

As far as the feminism comment someone else made, I don't understand your problem with it. Carrie Fisher was a strong presence in IV, V and VI, something terribly missing in I, II and III.

*mind blown*

he kinda looks like zach galafankis now though right?
I don't know who that is, but he got into a major car accident during (or just before) the filming of Empire Strikes Back amd it disfigured his face. I think aging has made it more noticeable.

But he's been a consistently working actor. He's the voice of a super villian (The Joker?) in an animated Batman show, and has played a lot of small roles in sci fi and comic book type series. He's currently a character in the TV show The Flash (again, plays a villain)

He's incredibly talented.

I think the accident made him look more weathered in "return" and it fit the character very well.
Recently I saw him in The Flash, very good show.

I've also done it a few times on past forums. They turn out to be water signs every damn time.
