I am curious.. what does Irish sound like to you?

What Language does it remind you of?

Did you know that Irish and Muslims call Jesus the same name? Iosa.

This is my people .. with the Mask of English off us. Our bare faces /voices.

Some of my older relatives .. this is them.. its locked away in my mind.

Irish people must have seemed very foreign.

I can hear the similiarity yeah. I have often felt that Arabic and persian /turkic languages sound a lot like irish ..

Like i sometimes hear turkish being spoken in dublin and for a second it sounds like irish.. and turkish people often remark that native irish speakers or even very high level non native speakers sound like they are speaking turkish for a moment then they realize they cant understand it.

I have often felt this .. sort of made irish people look at people who spoke these languages . .. like it was looking in a mirror .. of ourselves.. if that makes any sense.

They sound alike but not related linguistically.

Irish are humble yet proud. At least that's how I see them. Down to earth. Catholic of course.

I'm not American but I love an Irish accent. That Cranberries is a really nice touch as well, I think i will replay that later in your language, it sounds beautiful.

Well there are about 1070 of them. That is one thousand and seventy. So that is quite a lot.

But there are only 400 indigenous languages of the USA that are still spoken. Although some say 197 have native speakers and 400 have people who are indigenous who learned.

Hawaiian. Navajo. Qechua.

But i am sure you know more than I about them so why dont you tell me?? 🙂

I dont want to tell you about your own country etc.

By the way they discovered in australia when indigenous languages die out the environment gets damaged because the community that spoke it .. breaks up and they were protecting the land from development.

So basically speakers of indigenous langauges protect like 80% of the worlds biodiversity. So while you might things its ridic .. is actually saving the planet from people LIKE YOU who cant face their history

My ridiculous language protects like 60 % of the biodiversity in my country. All the rural land is where the native speakers of irish are.

Globally indigenous speakers protect 80 % of the biodiversity. Speakers Colonizing languages leave a path of destruction... genuinely.
