I have yet to read that London murders higher than NY murders news report. In my point of view, what is the relevance of this news? That it's not the gun restrictions that would solve the mass shootings issue? If London has higher murder stats, maybe it could be another factor that's driving the numbers up. Also, what about the other countries? Why do we concentrate on one city alone? Shouldn't we consider other cities too?

Data has given us a lot of information on how easily susceptible we are to marketing and persuasion. You might not think so but having any product available everywhere will increase its likelihood of being purchased. The more people with guns the more wives shot the more accidental deaths the more the idea of using the gun is less vague idea and more easily executable plan.

It's not the same thing (it's not a legit comparison). If they ban guns in your state - and you "smuggle one from another state (cause you won't be allowed to just carry it around in your bag - like alcohol)" - you're committing a crime. If gun laws become serious in your state (like they are in countries like mine / which btw it's as big as an American state) - you'll go to jail if they catch you with a gun.
