Was Just Involved In Police Chase

Title.

So my cousin and me hop in his friend's whip to go to the corner store. We arrive and my cousin goes inside, leaving his friend, friend's girlfriend, their child and me in the car.

As soon as my cousin comes out the store, two officers appear out of no where with tazers and tells the driver (cousin's friend) to stop (idk what he was doing. when I'm in the car, I zone out). So the driver decides to close the door and speed off, resulting in a chase.

So this dude was driving all crazy, going 60+ MPH on town roads, running red lights, driving on the opposite direction and all that. About 8-10 minutes into the chase, we come to a dead end and dude just gets out the car (while it's still on and moving) and dips.

There's about 15 cop cars behind us. They come up to the car, tell us (his girl and me) to get out the car. They find him like 5 minutes after that and we all get taken in.

All the "good" stuff ends there. The rest is just me being asked questions and the police getting pissed over me not knowing shit.

It was fun tbh. Only part that legitimately upset me was being held for so long/being treated like a criminal. Shit was wild as fuck.

And yeah I can't believe he did all that shit with his daughter in the car. It was a very surreal experience. I couldn't believe he was really trying to get away but according to my cousin, he's gotten away 4 times.

The cop who told me to get out of the car was pn some fuck shit.

"HANDS UP AND GET OUT NOW"
I start unbuckling my seat belt,
"NO DON'T REACH FOR ANYTHING GET OUT"
I'm trying to but my se - "GET OUT"
I stand up and he tries taking me to the car but my seatbelt was half on my shoulder

He felt so dumb.

No worries. I'd say, "Idk why people think I'm making this up" but I probably would think so too.

I'm surprised it wasn't on the news myself but I suppose it kind of makes sense. No one was injured and it was a quick chase (only lasted about 10 minutes and I think that's even stretching it a little)

I just wanted to share tho. How could I not? Lol
