Understand no one is perfect or error free. We all make mistakes, it's part of what makes us human. Learn to accept yourself and others regarding this and it will make everything in life easier.

Also understand that placing undue expectations on another leads to unhappiness and heartbreak. Keep that shit realistic! Lol

Ps no one is a mind reader.... Tell them how you feel...as a fellow Aqua I know how hard that is...

I'll assume this is advice needed for relationship in general. I didn't get a chance, but just the other day I was going to teach my niece about compromise. I think its important to maintain healthy relationships. She is young, but I've noticed that she can be a little selfish like her auntie(me) so I think its best she gets a headstart so it won't be so hard for her to do in the future.

Love unconditionally

Everytime i see this, i feel like screaming.

There's no better way to do a disservice to yourself and others, then to love someone unconditionally.

Might as well tattoo "doormat" on your forehead.

Great thanks!

Who cares, everything isn't about what you can get from someone.

That's how I choose to live my life and I have no regrets from doing so.

Idk even what that ^ means.

But what i mean to say is, everyone loves their mate with conditions.

I mean you wouldnt to love a man sleeps with your sister and makes a baby with her.

Your lover is not your other half. He is not the other puzzle piece, but he is the piece that makes you happy and that you'd rather have with you.

Love comes and goes. It's a cycle.

The same way you want someone to love you whether you choose to shave or not...that is loving without conditions. If he says I will only love you if you shave that is conditional.

Same as with the example you gave. I would already love the person. Once I love, it does not stop.

The difference between unconditional love and being a doormat is what a person tolerates. I can love someone through them sleeping with my sister and having a baby. Does that mean I will tolerate it and still want to be in a relationship with that person? No. I will however still love them. That's true love. Anyone I have given my love to can attest to that.
