What’s Life been like in last month?

Recovering from Covid.. the fatigue has completely sucked! It’s a lot of back & forth.. a serious exercise in patience. I keeping thinking I’m back to normal and then nope, have to reduce what I’m doing again. I’m so much better though, so grateful for that!!
I am back to working in the office full time as of last week. I’m also back to studying had to postpone next test, but hoping I can stay on track. My daughter moved back into town with her bf so it’s been nice to see her more.
Really am dying for some social interaction though. Almost hung out with a friend yesterday, but was exhausted so decided it was best to cancel. More patience lol

We had a guy who was out on maternity leave cause his wife just had a baby and he's back now for a short time because the only person that could do his job is out sick with Covid. Things are crazy around here.

Similar to when I caught it before (without losing my sense of smell and taste) but I'm still testing positive, and in California, you can work when you have a positive test.

Hmmm our rule is quarantine for 5 days, then you have to wear a mask for 5 days. I guess the thought is you’d be negative by then. I tested a week later and was negative but the fatigue is lasting much longer. Last week I did more as in going back to the office full time .. and it set me back a bit. Told my boss I’m going to work from home a couple days this week. I didn’t lose sense of taste or smell though. It’s been a little over a month! Grrrr our whole office is set up for work from home or office though. Thank god! I’m supposed to get a promotion this summer too.. I better. Lol Regardless I need to stay until I get my license at least. Hope you get what you want!

Yes the fatigue was the worse, I experienced it for months afterwards and took vitamin B’s everyday to keep me going. Waking up feeling exhausted isn’t the best feeling when you’ve got a full day ahead!

Well at least it’s weddings, could be worse these days. So many friends in the last week are putting up their farewells to their fur babies and I’m dreading that day!

The past month has been eventful but admittedly mostly in my head and heart.
Been dealing with a break-up, while simultaneously trying to hold my shit together teaching 7th and 8th graders, been considering a move to another state as a change of pace, but mostly think I am going to be staying where I am now. It's been a month of staring myself in the face and coming to grips with what I really want this life to be and deciding who Is fit enough (and willing) to be a part of that life.
You folk would characterize this as the fallout from the Saturn return I guess, I'm coming up on my 32nd bday now. Joy.
Haven't been heartsick but admittedly more than a little numb.
Keep your head up, I know it’s easy to say but you have to or it’ll drag you down. Think all positive things and when the negative creeps in, squash it!
I was feeling like that with my job and everything not happening… then I broke my arm. I really needed the month off, as crazy as it was. It’s help to shift my gears!

Moving is magical, you’re whole life changes. Hopefully for the better. Clearing out is also beneficial, you see things and memories you’ve packed away, get to relive them again and put it to rest but hold on to the most precious 🙂 given that it isn’t by choice but I’m sure you’ll look back and be thankful 🙂

Yup! We can as long as we wear a mask. Counterproductive, I know. Smh. I stayed in my office all day and wiped down everything I touched. So I did my work and was quarantined as much as possible from other employees.

Had one project with an absurdly short deadline, finished it successfully, got paid for it. Apart from that, it's a slow month. My grandmother had surgery, so I visit her daily, bring food, sometimes change her and the sheets and so on. I started going to a studio that offers vacuum and infrared induced fitness equipment 2x per week, where I lose about 800-900 kcal per training.

No we had an argument and haven’t talked in 2 months.. I’m tired of always being the one to compromise so if he doesn’t reach out, I am just accepting that it’s over. I just need to let it run it’s course until I get him out of my system.
And no thanks… lol I’ve had plenty of offers myself. The Gemini doctor that I’ve talked about before told me that his wife moved out 2 weeks ago. he’s still been trying to pursue me but I just don’t feel the intensity that I need. I have no idea what the state says, except it’s probably off CDC guidelines. My work is following that. It’s just probably more off individual businesses & what their policy is.

This month has been the worst, just wedding after wedding to attend so the weekends are getting fucked off and our bathroom addition is gathering dust.
