Overall, women make me sad. I hate us sometimes. Our stupidity is shocking and I was fine until I aligned myself with them. My bff taught me so much. He was recently dating some hollywood producer chick. Gorgeous, well-off, stable. Well she ended up being hospitalized and called him incessantly thereafter because he didn't call to check up on her. My initial reaction was, he's a piece of shit but then...

He says he txtd her and asked what's wrong. He said he knew she wanted him to call but her emotensity was scaring him off. They'd only been talking a few months but the crux was when her friend called him...a friend he'd NEVER met and had NEVER spoken to...and told him that he "was making the biggest mistake of his life." The friend then told him how wonderful the producer chick was and how he needed to realize how lucky he was.

The old, jaded me wouldve chastised a man who didn't think to call up on a friend let alone a love interest who "could have died." He talked to her daily prior to this and now, when she needs tlc he's nowhere to be found? How fucking horrible. He should call her right?

And rest assured, I'm reformed too! I had my dumb as f@ck moments too, so I was NOT above it either. It's living and learning. If you continue to do the same f@cked up things/decisions, relationship, after relationship, after relationship it's like DAYUMN WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE! It truly is frustrating.
