Cancer moon men

So, i was very briefly involved with a cancer moon guy earlier this year. i've actually known him from a while back but we never really hung out. We ended up running into each other one day and it went from there..

In a short amount of time i 'sensed' that he was very into his career, and/or just trying to play the field and was just trying to use me for what he could get out of it. we've always had a very strong attraction to each other (we are both scorps, i have taurus moon).

Basically i ended up walking away from him trying to protect myself..no explanation or anything (eek scorp)..but my taurus moon is still trying to dissect and find a way to get over this whole thing bc it tends to linger in the back of my head from time to time.

i would like to know if its typical of cancer men to be the 'player', so to speak? Or are they just so career focused and try to distract themselves? He is already very successful, but i figure he probably has more goals or wants to stay focused. I also see him friending all these girls on social media and flirting, I'm like this is not the person i met way back when, so it makes me wonder. Is he just full of himself? or covering something up? i do know that he was in a relationship a couple years ago and then he started the whole career focus so i also wonder if he is not trying to get hurt.

That's the thing, we never went on a formal "date". I was just a hang out and it seemed like he just always wanted to chill at his place which was fine bc we were both comfortable, but then I was like this is just for sex? That's not what I'm looking for, So I bailed. He did tell me he like me, which I believe but just don't think he wanted to be serious.

This is like 3 questions in one. Youre asking if Cancer men are players? What does that have to do with his moon sign? Hes a Scorpio not a Cancer.

Are Scorpio men into their careers? Anyone can be. Cancer moons arent known for being entirely career focus, but I think Mars dictates that more than anything.

Water-water guys are typically harder to be in relationships with because their emotions are erratic. Whereas a Taurus moon would seek stability in their emotions, he probably wants love from whoever can give him it. If you know his venus that would tell more about his relationship preferences.

I honestly have to come think your moon sign is a strong indicator of how u are Ina relationship, but what do I know. That's why I came to the moon sign. I actually read that cancer moons can be very career focus. And yes, add that to Scorpio mix it might be increased.

Exactly, I seek stability or nothing. I though Cancer moons did too.

We were born about a week sort so we have a lot of the same planet action going on, minus a few. We are both Mars and Venus in libra :-/

I'm a Scorpio moon so I get the lingering feelings in the back of your head, lol... I had a thing with a Cancer moon, we were friends for 5 years until he tried to have sex with me, telling me all those things about needing a connection to sleep with someone, etc. He's very popular with having female friends and I never asked if I was just one of them or more, i was comfortable having him as a friend only so I kept my distance and never went for more.
But yeah, I couldn't have sex that night (girlprobs) but we still made out the rest of the evening... and when I asked him what it meant for him a few days after he said he had just wanted sex in the douchiest text message I'd received since high school. *shrugs*

I'm not sure what I expected but I don't think you really can figure them out on your own or even if you ask. The aftermath is that we tried staying LDR friends for a year but I realised he wanted nothing to do with me anymore so I cut him off. Haven't heard from him since then, still thinking of him but it doesn't bother me as much as it used to. I know that if he did want to see or hear about me, he'd have contacted me, he knows I always respond to him.

He's also very career focused, he would often not see me when I was in town because he was busy, which is true but sometimes felt like a cope out. He has sun and moon in his 6th house like I do so I understand his workaholic ways but I don't think it'll stop.

This is all coming from experience and observations. Moon signs are strong indicators, because emotions play a big role in the relationship. So for two people to be together, their emotions should complement each other. The moon effects every aspect of you getting along with someone, but the venus effects strictly your relationships. For example I typically have better experiences with other earth moons in general in any activity we do whether its going out or playing video games. But somewhat luckily for you guys you have Libra venus which are good venuses. Im not sure how they interact together though, could make both of you guys passive and less dominant since Libras love to TAKE SHIT. Cancer moons dont nessecarily seek out longevity in emotions however. They ARE emotional and need emotional support, but this isnt the same as a Taurus moon emotions who is ENDURING. Cancer moons emotions will be STRONGER and EXTREME, but the commitment comes from a different background, some call it clingy but I think thats a mean word. Also although you guys were born a week apart, you could have totally different personalities due to positions and houses and all that bull crap that is too nerdy for me!

Obviously we are very different, but yes we do have the Mars and Venus which actually helped. Although I was starting to feel like his Mars was coming on too aggressive or disrespectful for my libra taste. And I don't take shit, maybe used to but I've learned my lesson!

Interesting, I thought cancer moons do seek longevity. Due to his other placements he wasn't clingy at all. I just noticed a difference in him from when I had met him a couple years back. Like he was more cockey or something.

I hate it. Probably what I dislike most about my moon, even though I love it. It takes a lot for me to get over. Damn fixed! And it doesn't help that I'm a Scorpio.

Thanks for your insight. Kinda seems like this guy, I guess you really can't figure them out. It's so weird since then I'm not interested in dating. I think I've just gotten over so much of the same bs from guys that I've decided to focus on me.
