Scorpio moon and toxic relationship with mother.

I've noticed a pattern with the male Scorpio mooners and its that they all seem to have a very toxic and co-dependency relationship with their mother. All the women I've met that date or married to scorpio moon man have all said his unresolved emotional issues with the mother caused a lot of strife in their relationship and why the guys were emotional unavailable to love them and form healthy relationships.

Anyone else experience or can relate and want to share.

Geez the 2 double Scorp men I've seen have both had severe negative mom experiences. Incredibly sad stories and a lot of pain... I think it caused a lot more trust issues. Very closed off men.

Cancer - Libra pairing is already bad, complicated and hard..

They felt very misunderstood too. I think that's why our relationships were so intense. They wanted that intimacy but feared it. I'm extremely maternal even in my personal relationships so they get very attached but almost dont trust it.

Yes! and the more you try to love them, the further they emotionally distance themselves from you but will come get you if you try to leave or take your nurturing away because they've become dependent on it but don't think you actually know that they are dependent on you. Which is why they play hot and cold thinking it keeps them from being exposed.

Yeah could be, you could repulse them by reminding them of their mother. However for me my ex got obsessed and addicted to my mothering nature and breaking up with him has literally felt like trying to get a baby to stop nursing the breast. Its been 7 months and I've moved on with another guy and he still doesn't want to let go and is begging for at least a friendship at this point because he became so co-dependent on me. I'm literally having to wing myself out his life because he's actually behaving like a child that is losing his mother.

Yes I've witnessed this in 6 scorpio moon men which is what prompted me to make this thread and my ex who has a Scorpio moon recently confessed to me that the reason he's having hard time letting me go is because I make him feel emotionally safe and nurtured in the way he wishes he would get/got from his mother.

Then I wondered how many Scorpio mooners might not be aware of the mother/son dynamic that the Scorpio moon entails.

I cut my mother out of my life over 10 years ago... I know other scorpio moons that have terrible relationships with their mothers. Girls and guys... its definitely a pattern

No, I myself am totally into younger girls but they need to have emotional depth... part of the reason I almost exclusively date fellow scorpio moon women

My boyfriend has a great relationship with his mom. Very close.

But I do find that his mom seems to have somewhat of a codependency towards him right now. But that's more due to his father's recent passing.

Ummm my mom is Scorpio moon and she was really close with her mom a cancer.

So I don’t believe this as a rule. If your relationships are shitty, they are shitty.

My Virgo mother has Leo moon, which I have Leo sun and Virgo mercury.

I always got along with her well. She did her best as a single mother through my life, and was super picky on the men she dated. She finally met the right man when I was 18, which is A Sag with Leo sun. He was more of a fatherly figure to me then my real dad, and taught me how to be a hard worker. He was never too hard to work with, and always happy and fun. For the most part at least lol. On occasion that fire energy would show, but his anger was rare and short lived.

As a child my mother would leave me at my grandparents quite often, due to work and wanting to have fun as a young mother. I didn't resent her for it, and really enjoyed being at my grandparents. To be honest I enjoyed being everywhere as a child, though I was tossed around. Nornally I was with my mother or grandparents on the week days, and out at my dads on the weekend.

The only toxicity was at age 3 when my mom and dad would argue. It scared me as a child, and the yelling lead to their divorce. Then a bit older at age 14 my dad got into hard drugs and was constantly arguing with her, yelling and breaking stuff. My dad was always quite detached from reality. Hes an Aqua Pisces cusp. His life slowly deteriorated to the point he lost his stuff, the country home I was born it, and everything he worked for. I stopped seeing him on the weekends at that point. My mom was in a realy toxic relationship with a pos Libra man, and there was constant yelling there too. It was never an issue with me and the things around me being unstable. It was the fact everything around me was unstable, and I got into some bad stuff. Things like sex, smoking, alcohol, drugs, older kids, theft, and skipping school. At that point the crazy stuff made me feel good lol. All while acting like everything was perfectly fine in my life, which truth be told it felt like it was. I felt like instability was normal life. Because I easily adapted to everything around me due to having a strong Cancer rising.

I don't act like my past is the reason I'm a detached human human though. That I don't try for relationships with people or seek out love. I let myself become that way, because it felt comfortable. It wasn't my mother or father, or my bad friends in high school. It was me. I made the choice to not trust women, because I make the choice to spend all my effort on women who can't be trusted. I chose to wake up late for work on occasion, and get behind at times. I chose to be addicted to alcohol and tobacco. Which alcohol is something I started when my life was was actually normal for once. I also chose to sit in front of a computer for 12 hours on my off days and play video games or fuck around on the internet rather then something productive. I chose to do all of these things. No one in my life from my past chose that path for me. I'm perfectly fine with it too, because it gives me bad habits to overcome. Without them and some chaos life would be quite boring.

This was my experience as well, never fully cut the apron strings and used to compare me to his mum all the time. Strange push/pull, he also put me on a pedestal which is a precarious place to be...

I have Scorpio Moon and me and my mum have so different personalities. She hurt me so much in the past, I kinda blame her about the fact that I did not have normal childhood. The worst think is that my dad commited suicide when I was little and everything was just horrible.

My sis had Scorpio moon and her and my Leo moon mother had a very strained rship

My Scorpio Sun/Moon Man has a great relationship with his mother. (Actually all the Scorpio men I know are really incredible sons to their mothers.) His father on the other hand - oofta.

But I have to say overall, Sun or moon, Scorpionic men know respect what their mom did for them in life and return the favor. I have seen a similar son mother connection in Cancer men - but its more like the Cancer man cant cut the strings from mommy. With Scorpio sun's or moon's its more about them stepping into an elderly or absent father's place to make sure the mother is attended to.

Im a Taurus moon my sister a Scorpio moon. Ive always been very protective of her, while im younger. Her life was, is still full of drama. I try to avoid our family dramas, but when she's in a fight with my mother she demands I stay loyal to her. She Doesn't forgive faults of others and finds herself flawless, or she finds herself a victim or blame others if she is at fault.

My relationship with my scorpio moon sister has been very traumatic to me. She left a big mark on my personality im trying to overcome.

well at least in some ways you have learned what you don't like / want around you ... I'm sure if you unknowingly meet another scorpio moon you may inherently recognize and know almost immediately ... at least that is how it became with me and pisces males with birthdays from 3/1 to 3/8 - I could all but smell them coming lol

I am a Scorpio moon, my mother is one, my youngest is one, my ex husband is one.

My own upbringing my mom is my one of my best friends. However, that's not to say there weren't some deeply hard times between us. We have a great relationship and maybe, there was some codependency with her. I have worked very hard to separate myself more to feel like my own person with my own thoughts.

My ex husband, he adores his mom, she treats him like he has done everything right in this world and literally praises him on everything. So, he is a big time mommas boy, he wanted me to be more like her but I'm nothing like her, honestly, except for truly caring about my loved ones unconditionally.. That we are the same.. He wanted me to be like this step ford wife, but somewhere he had/has a deep disrespect for women, maybe, hatred towards them. I'm not sure how dark it is anymore. He admitted to using women and not caring if he hurt them emotionally or not. 😢 One girl broke his heart and he was set to make them all pay. I came after that time. LOL YEA ME

My mom growing up always had a great relationship with her mom, she always compared me to her and her mom. Drve me crazy and made me feel terrible about myself. In fact, my mom always reminded me of what a good kid she was and she didn't get into trouble, yet,I did and I was this or that. It was deeply shameful and played into my internal dialogue for years.

My youngest and I, I pray we always remain close but in a healthy way. She is so loving but can turn very cold, too. LOL I rarely even have to get onto her, she is truly a great kid.
