Fuck I just watched the movie and it was awesome I feel like I want to laugh and cry and at the same time I feel like theres a hole in me it's so weird..
Cate Blanchet was great but I dunno if she was oscar worthy its pretty much cate being a method actor in a sitcom??_

Can't believe how much I resonate with the lead character in this movie definitely recommend watching this movie 🙂

It's basically a re-telling of 'A Streetcar Named Desire', no? Woody even included some of the iconic images and lines from it ("Drunk animal thing you"). I felt it was average at best, but of course I couldn't relate to it personally like you. =)

I vaguely remember street car named desire I remember marlin brando being an abusive drunk in it I think ill check it out??_

I wasn't rich like her but had the breakdown and would often space out and relive things in my mind and start talking to myself hahah back when I was on drugs not so much anymore.

the end scene when she's on the bench talking to herself is sad reminds me of jared lets mum in requiem for a dream

It's an awesome movie, love the flashback scenes!!!
