It was amazing the embodiment the actor who played him did. He deserves an Oscar. Although it was pretty vanilla barely touching the cheating, drug use. Still good. I loved how they touched upon how he got his musical influences.

Richard Pryor was a comedic genius who challenged all the above. He had his own comedy variety show that was so ahead of its time that it was cancelled too soon. It was before my time but I saw clip of it online recently.

It was so interesting to watch all the crazy decisions and events happening, and realize its just an exaugurated metaphor of how so many people live there lives. I could totally relate to periods of my life where I did this shit to myself.
I really can't stop thinking about it, I want more movies like this in my life.
I think another movie I liked that played with time and metaphors in a similar way, was Palm Springs (Prime), anyway if you like this movie or movies like this and know of more, please let me know.
