Ah so how do u feel about it that ending? I like the new developments but I also hard to see it when it’s like always been a mans mans kinda movie franchise.

It does feel like the end of an era. I don’t really see how they can continue it in a way that makes much sense.

I never had seen any of these and then recently worked our way through most of them ( the 90s and onward). And all I could think is this dude is a terrorist, blowing shit up and killing people. Bro calm down.

Grandpa-rant:

I want to watch it, but all that feminism crap shouldn't be in there. Are they making bond look weak? Why is romi suddenly quippy? Isnt that toxic masculinity? Eva green makes strong women believable, but overly confrontational female characters are just meh! Lachana lynch is just bland. I want to say more, but I would spoil.

-I don't go to the movies anymore, and I don't have entertainement TV so I probably won't see it

-James bond franchise is shit, always has been, it's glorification of western/anglo/zionist imperialism, but at least there was a time it was fun/funny so you could close your eyes on that dude killing people and overthrowing governments for the benefits of a few assholes

-Craig era was the worst so far, they mixed up James Bond with jason bourne. Movies are boring, take themselves way too seriously, way up their own ass. character is unfunny (not the actor's fault, it's the way the movies are going), spends his time doing parkour combat. Everybody looks like they're at a funeral. All the movies have a dark yellow/piss filter over the picture probably to make them more grimdark.

-The blonde actress is a good symbol of everything that is wrong with the french "show business". She's the granddaughter of a billionnaire that owns the biggest cinema corporation in france. I wouldn't normally have anything against that type of coincidences if they were happening occasionally, but at this point there isn't a new actor or singer in france that reaches celebrity if they're not the child, grandchild, nephew or otherwise related to either a former celebrity or some billionnaire magnates. They aren't even trying to hide themselves anymore, the plutocracy is shameless and disgusting

-Best Bond was Timothy Dalton, but his career was sabotaged by an incredibly bad movie. second best is brosnan. Moore is a clown but his era made the Bond movies less politically charged at least. Connery is cringe but he was exploring new territories. But his movies didn't age well and are difficult to watch because boring (especially the second one)

-they will tease the woke crowd with a black, female, or gay actor for years, but in the end, they won't do it because it wouldn't sell

Well overdue?

Man cave movie no longer? Will you still be interested in seeing the franchise

So long as it's nothing like the last bond and the in companying writing. Severely lacked what made Bond Bond. It's spirit and charm of the character. The story lines have always been about universal Bad guys or eliminating masterminds after world domination or what not. Wasn't any political messiness.

He is basically a charming, intelligent, highly skilled, clever spy hero. I object to the idea he was a womanizer or pig. Rather someone who sacrificed his own desires and personal life for dedication to the job. Hence nothing could come of anything in those areas. Yes reverse honey pots were used, however that doesn't go against the concept of gender equality lol

That is a good question. If you think about it, they already exist. The movie Salt comes to mind, the Hannah series, Femfetal series and not spy craft but Resident Evil movie series. There is actually a whole genre Called "Noir" with female spy craft/assassin being the focus.

So the real question is, would re-appropriating "Bond 007" for the sack of gender equality even be nessasary or calling her Bond?

No, not really right?

However, in the fantasy world of 007, a female 007 character would be just fine. And why not comes to mind.

So the question is, is this contraversy bullshit? Lmao

P.S. Haley Berry would be a great 00 main character. Her performance in swordfish was dead on minus the fancy gadgets lol

spoiler alert…….,,,,,,,,,

I agree with Halle Berry being a good bond. I’m afraid who they have in mind might not be able to carry it though?

Yes agreed. Really big shoes to fill.

Denzel Washington would absolutely fit the bill. However, he is too well established to be used. Would just be ones of his movies rather then a Bond movie.

Someone mentioned Eve Green as a candidate. She has the talent but imo, I'm not sure she could match the tempo of bonds movie character so to speak. This will be interesting.
