Anything you watched recently or think is a great flick, horrible flick?? Whatever. Just post what you feel or think.

For me recently rewatched Step Brothers high af. Normally when I watch movies high, especially ones I thought was good, they usually turn out worse and even more so with bad movies. Not all but it's really a good filter for me for what's good or not.

But watched Step Bros and that shit is comedic genius.

Just to give you a reference my top 10 favorite movies in no particular order:

1) Fight Club
2) American Beauty
3) Pulp Fiction
4) The Graduate
5) Princess Monoke
6) Howls Moving Castle
7) 500 Days of Summer
8) Gone with the Wind
9) The Descent
10) Beauty and the Beast

Also list your top favs... Doesn't have to be as many or limited as my list just whatevs man 😄

The descent is scary and I love it but the best part is the all female cast. Lol, not common in horror films

Thanks. Yes, due date is a comedy and its hilarious. Zach galifinakis (i know i spelled that wrong and too lazy to google to correct it) and robert Downey Jr are in in.

What's make the descent scary are those things. Maaannn, I don't know what I would do in that situation. For one, I would have never been down in that cave. Lol.

Oh @Goober I've never seen due date or cloud atlas. Any good? What's cloud atlas about?

Due date is about a guy who get kicks off of a plane because of some random imbecile but he eventually goes on a road trip with this said imbecile to get to l.a to be at the birth of his child. During that trip, he has to deal with the imbecile. Lol

Cloud atlas is about past life stuff. Its interesting. I had to watch it like 3 times to understand and catch every important detail though. Its mysterious.

Let me go into more detail about Cloud Atlas. It's about the illusion of reality and vice versa, and how time plays a part in fleshing out this illusion/reality.

Mad max fury road was great! The hateful eight was pretty good. I'm glad to fine another descent fan

Been recommended by several friends to watch Mad Max. I'll have to watch it now.

Yes! I love the descent. I love the simplicity of it yet how terrifying and crazy it can be. Plus the complex and interesting characters. That among the blood shed there's still that underlying humanity in it of jealousy and greed.

OP, if you like horror:

I can't see the first one and in the second one is she eating brains? What is that one about? I'm very intrigued

The second one is related to youth and beauty.

The woman in that trailer is obsessed with maintaining her youth and beauty. And no, she's not eating brains, but I won't spoil it for you by telling you what it is.

Ahh!!! So interesting I'm getting creeped out just thinking of the possibilities ‚‚

IME foreign Asian horrors are the most creative and horrifying. They just know the the deepest and darkest fears of people. Can you tell me the names of those movies?? I'd love to watch them!

First one is Masters Of Horror : Imprint

Second one is Three Extremes (it's 3 stories of extreme behaviour, I think Dumplings is the 2nd or 3rd story).

I absolutely love Asian horror cinema! Hollywood is nothing compared to Asian horror!

I know even just Asian films in general have very interesting plots and themes that are usually never brought up or are too taboo for western culture

I just watched Edge of Tomorrow again. Watched it last night with my husband, and tried really hard to keep up with the storyline. Woke up at 4am this morning with even more questions about the movie and watched it again just now. I may have to watch it a third time just to be fully satisfied.

I've always admired Tom Cruise as the consummate movie star, but this movie actually made me appreciate him as an actor.

And I now have a huge woman crush on Emily Blunt. Those eyes! Those cheekbones!

Also watched Room quite recently. Very heart-wrenching! Brie Larson deserves all the awards and kudos she's getting.

I want to watch The Revenant, but not sure if I have the stomach for it. Has anyone seen it yet? Are there lots of blood and gore that I'd lose whatever I'd eaten watching it?

The Revenant.

Waste of my time. It was basically deliverance set in the winter time, with none of the realism. Did they even watch some Nat Geo videos on wilderness? Clueless.

I can't believe this movie won the Golden Globe.
