TBH, I am already confused as to what song is an alternative rock and what is not. @_@ Yet I still love those songs I consider as alternative rock.... @_@

Yeah, "alternative" rock is not really a rock sub-genre just like "classic" rock is not a sub-genre. They're just radio tags. What's considered alt. rock is mostly hard rock and/or post-grunge.
