Discussion on…imagine if X star was asked to share a stage and sing one song with XXX stars.
Would that be…just impossible because ‘we don’t DO! THAT!’
And saying that I am still miffed about UK giving the world ALL British Invasion era icons and Eurovision is…SHIT! 🤷♀️

Well none of the ppl stepping up in Europe are by definition "stars". They are C-celebrities in their countries, at best.
I mean you won't see the Euro equivalent of Kanye West volunteer to enter an exhibition in poor taste that is the Eurovision

Eurovision is mainly about the great show and the politics...who are your friends and allies... could you still count on your neighbours to have your back?
It's about laughing at the poor, unloved UK....null points again...nobody loves it...he-he! Haven't watched it in 5 years, so voting may have change nowadays, making them more about the music and less about politics.

The whole Ukraine issue has left me feeling disgusted about human beings in general (and the Russians should be the least of anyone's worries, barring a nuclear attack).
Ukraine is swimming in a pool of hall passes from other countries - financial aid, weapons, a visible platform in the media, favouritism in every conceivable department and now this stupid contest.
It wouldn't be so bad if this happened to other countries in a similar situation but it doesn't. Just ask Palestine, Somalia, Ethiopia and Taiwan. Oh, wait - none of these countries comprise of a dominant or indigenous WHITE population. Hmmm...
In the UK, we have traitorous bourgeois scum opening their homes to Ukraine refugees, solely for the sake of smug virtue signalling, but wouldn't do the same for our homeless or refugees from other countries (because they're not the right shade of white). And don't get me started on how the borders being opened exclusively for Ukrainians only worsens the housing situation in most countries.
Finally, remember the 10,000 African university students who had trouble escaping Ukraine because they weren't white enough? Well, most of them are currently residing in neighbouring European countries, but are currently living in limbo because tuition fees in those countries are far higher than in Ukraine.
What was that? What about funding and scholarships? The funding is there but most of it is going to... yes, you've fucking guessed it - Ukrainian students. Institutional racism at its finest (with the Ukraine crisis being used as a convenient smokescreen).
So, yeah, fuck the Eurovision, fuck Ukraine and fuck everyone who's jumped on the Ukrainian bandwagon.

There is a lot of injustice in this world, but neither you nor I can correct it, my friend. Only Russia can settle it once and for all, by firing nuclear weapons. Let’s build a better world afterwards.

We can't correct all the injustice in the world, but I refuse to be like most people and avoid pointing such things out, no matter how uncomfortable it may be for myself and others.
If people really want the world to become a better place, constantly putting their heads in the sand (while berating those who don't) isn't the ideal first step.
