The Rottweiler. I have a memory ingrained in me from when I was a little girl. When I was young, I lived next door to a Rottweiler who was serious and quiet, but very kind. His owner abused him. She'd hit him with chairs and leave him in his poop and pee. I kept a close eye on him, and I can only remember one time when she gave him a walk. I used to stack up chairs that reached the ceiling to pet him, and I'd toss him a can of food to give him a tasty treat. I even played with my father's camera and shot a picture of him one day. His face is still in my album with a pant that looks like a smile. He's dead right now. The last time I saw him was many years ago, and I moved from that location. I promised myself a long time ago that I'd get a Rottweiler in his memory. Many believe that they're mean and hard to live by, but they're very loyal and very sweet. They're so handsome, too. I love their coats. I've never met a better dog, and I hate to shame my Beagle.

The Doberman and the Wolf Hybrid.

I had the sweetest chocolate brown doberman for a short while. I named her Godiva and I will never forget her smile and personality. She was a stray we had that was smart as a whip, gorgeous, and sleek. Godiva was a wonderful soul that lived all too short a life. She never met a person she didn't like, liked to terrorize little dogs and cats, and was great with children. We also called her little horse sometimes from the way she ran. It always sounded like a gallop. I will get another doberman again some day, but I will not give her the same name. That name will always remain with her forever.

The wolf hybrid is an animal I always wanted to experience. Its a cross between generally a huskey, malamute or german shephard (to keep the wolfish appearance intact) with an actual wolf. They are usually gorgeous and very intelligent animals. Im planning to get one when I retire. They are very time consuming to care for.

I like Dobermans. They are so serious and soulful. But watch out they get very protective and if someone "threatening" comes in they give warning.
I had two that were my babies. They only thing about Dobies is they are velcro dogs. My male pup use to whine at the door when I was in the shower. Eventually I'd let him in and he'd try to jump in the shower with me!!

Both my Dobes came to a sad ending thanks to my crazy ex who was scared of them. I don't know why the cops didn't arrest him for what he did. I turned him in but they didn't do anything 😢

I love your dog Elle.

I always wanted a Neopolitan mastiff and a Caucasian Ovtcharka.

Neo:

Ovtcharka:

"look mommy, that kid has a pet bear!"

So far my favorite breeds are Alaskan Huskies and Ibizan hounds tho.

Alaskan:

Yes, its a different breed than most people think of as a 'husky'. They typically have short to medium hair. They overheat because their metabolisms run too fast. Make excellent sled dogs though.

Beezer:
*sigh*..i want a dog...

if you could take any two animals and splice their genes together in order to create the perfect pets, what would you chose and what traits would you want?

no choosing to splice cat and dog.

I have a golden retriever/chow mix named Lodi (after the CCR song, don't blame me, my parents named him), a siamese named Seymoure, and a calico named Zoey.

What about you?

I love them! Has anyone ever had one? Know anything about them? Love them? Hate them? My old best friend had a black one named "Conan" (not pronounced like the late night host, but like the barbarian). He was the cutest thing you've ever seen; they
