Do Pisces Women Prefer to Be Friends First
Many Pisces women value building a friendship before entering a romantic relationship. This approach allows emotional connection and trust to develop naturally. Its actually friends and family members of mine that have said it( both my parents, my aunts and uncles. all Pisces.. all gave me the "be friends first" advice). The one Pisces I was involved with dated me first. But we decided to be friends after the fact. I just wonder why they say it when clearly they date first if they like you.

That makes sense as to why it didn't work out with me and my Pisces. When we dated I was never clear with her on where she stood with me. Because Im more "go with the flow". And I misunderstood her passivity as being "on the same page". I was clearly wrong.
Not a woman, but yes. I learn who you are and am able to mesh with you and in your life, vs. really liking you, not knowing who you are (or your friends) and being uncertain of anything & dating you at the same time. sometimes it works when 2 people know they like eachother and are hands down going to make it work. Real MVPs there hahaha

My mom is a Pisces like I said and Iv known my entire life not to take her words seriously ever. I just thought she was unreliable as a child...before I knew what a Pisces was. Now its like I look at my mom in a different light.
I expect to be friends first... If we are not we cant be lovers... We could be fwb... But in order for a REAL relationship to occur a strong friendship is important. Also its more important i know where you stand than where i do. Consistently is key.

I like that the man makes his intensions clear, but then back off bit so I can think about it. If I like him I will like to take it slowly, so my feelings can grow but always flirting so I know that he is in to me. Friendly but romantic until we can't get our hands off each other any longer. Lol

Ironically it was close to a year for both of us. Her husband is also a Pisces.
It's not like I set out to have a friendship first, but it kinda just happened that way. And I'm glad it did as it gave me a chance to feel him out before jumping to anything.
Friendship or not, the most important thing I think with Pisces is that things grow organically. If she's the type to take it slow or not. Go with the flow and definitely be assertive.

We just have to go with the flow, go with the feels
As a Gemini sun not sure moon and other stuff however for me I enjoy a friendship more than a "relationship ". Where most times people skip the foundation of a relationship which is knowing someone and having a friend first that if more was in store with that friend even better. But too many times I've missed that important step which then leads to a crash and burn. I enjoy having no obligations when it comes to having a friendship where you just wanna do something out of the kindness ur heart and then if it's becomes more those obligations really aren't obligations aside from commitment it's just love. And anyone that truly loves and appreciates someone won't feel the need to have to be shady.

I think how people see "assertive" is all relative. How do you define assertive in this context?
Assertive to me is a man that knows what he wants and isn't afraid to get it.
In dating it means a guy that isn't afraid to state where he sees things going, and if we both agree to take things further that the man leads us to exclusivity.
There's a (very) fine line between being assertive and being pushy though. Watch her reaction to when you take initiatives. If she responds positively, you're good. If she backs off, chances are you're being pushy.

Me and my pisces are back to friends for a second time AGAIN. (we are both females btw). Im really enjoying our friendship right now. we dated. stopped talking for 10 months. were friends (for 2 seconds until she started kissing me again)...
I never made my intentions known. And than we decided to be friends again. she was over last night and we worked on a project of mine together. and we talked for 5 hours. (the project only took 1).. This happens with me and her. I think without the pressure of a relationship we are both more comfortable around one another and are able to open up. When there is pressure its like we both have our guards up and it's weird. What is interesting though is despite 2 times it "not working out" we both end up succumbing to our attraction to one another... I felt that last night. Like a gravitational pull. But I already set a boundary with her this time around. "if we are friends you cannot kiss me anymore". And I fully intend on being a real friend rn.. but our dynamic is always interesting to me and changeable. im always all "i wonder what will happen next??" lol

This question is directed toward you Pisces women specifically. But anyone can answer. Do you prefer to be "friends first" with someone? Iv always wondered this about Pisces women. All the ones iv met have SAID they prefer to be friends first. But contradict themselves by hopping in and out of relationships. Is that just a young Pisces behavior? Though both of my parents are pisces and they both hop in and out of relationships and say the same thing. I guess im confused.
