Do you think pisces are actually humanitarian, or is it just a front?
Are Pisces Truly Humanitarian or Just Pretending
Pisces are often seen as compassionate and empathetic, which aligns with humanitarian qualities. However, their motivations can vary, and some may use kindness as a front. Understanding individual traits is important, but many Pisces genuinely care about helping others and making a positive impact.

Well I know one Pisces who is an ex navy seal and still works as a military contractor....not sure if that counts as being a humanitarian since he kills and tortures people while protecting a nation of other people.... but...yeah...that's all I got.
Depends on how clear-sighted they are.
1) Some pisceans learn to empower themselves first and not lie to themselves. The ones like that are the ones that'll take anyone with potential or a flicker of spirit on their backs and carry them forward. Ultimately giving.
2) Then there are the pisceans that become recluse and fragile, smoke weed all day and reduces the world to whatever perception they've built in their heads. Eventually, they want everyone to abide by it without question. They get off on this saviour idea and wind up going near schizo trying to push the world on others (think Alex Jones--though the degree of crazy varies.
Or they're a little more stable minded and just convince themselves that everyone else is stupid.
These ones never realize the degree to which they become completely narcissistic, belligerent assholes.

though i've had pisces merc friends and from what i've noticed, they always have some messed up idea they're obsessed with but they.... just never do anything about it. they have this almost hysterical panic over wanting shit so much.... it almost felt like a virgo for a minute there.

One of my Libra friends would sacrifice almost anything to have a partner and told me "anything is better than nothing" .... the other woman I heard say that is a Pisces...
I'm a selective Humanitarian. I've been burned too often while being taken advantage of. Now a days, I carefully gift to those that have proven to struggle. As far as donating to causes, again, I'm selective.

To that aqua comment, no I don't think Aquas are Humanitarians at all they are just opinionated. Agree with Pisceans been fixated on whatever energy which than leads to signs of martyrdom but I don't think it's as innocent as most 'texts' write about them as.
Libras to me may exhibit those same things but to me they KNOW they are getting the shit end of the stick.

The Pisces I know, including myself, are genuine people, who couldn't care less for putting up a front.
As for humanitarianism....the concept is too abstract for my liking. I think we are just kind and helpful to our next kin. I'm kinder than my own parents (Aqua/Taurus), whose mistrust of others leaves me speechless. It's definitely not something I inherited from them.
Total front. We're just here to break hearts and leave people wondering why we haven't called.

well duh, it wouldn't be an empath if it didn't empathize with everybody. How could an empath just be fixated on one outside being? that doesn't make sense. By definition empaths must fuck around.
As for being humanitarian and sacrificing, you can't call that " a front" because I don't think any pisces ever pretended to have these qualities. This is the worst case of cat-lady astrology, and most pisces must find the idea quite disgusting.

I've just spent a few hours with my Pisces friend who is recovering from breast cancer surgery and still she is trying to care for her elderly father, even though she is in terrible pain herself 😥. It's taken for these extreme measures for her to begin to mind herself

Exactly my sentiments and what I was talking about to my Pisces friend today. We are nothing without love, that is why it's so important to disengage with negativity...very harmful to the body and mind

they are humanitarian until they got their feels hurt, but majority of the time they care about others and sacrifice their happiness and food for people they care about

I have noticed this too
From my experiences with a bunch of Pisces, you can easily get them to do things for you out of all the signs if you're part of their close circle, it can even cause them to get taken advantage of. But I think innately they still strive for whatever delusion is playing on in their heads during the moment (which may or may not align with the other person's motives).
I like to think so...l noticed a recurrent pisces theme in vegans. But pisces are more about being very emotional about stuff..and mature, and also secretly giving in to temptation.
no, pisces are not usually known for being "humanitarians." pisces are born to "serve or suffer"...which is more like a heavy obligation than a desire to promote human welfare. sure, we are intuitive, compassionate and all that s h ! t, but not because we want to be (generally speaking). believe it or not, aquarius is the sign most commonly associated with being a humanitarian. they believe in human rights, equality and care way more about the well-being of the world as a whole. they also have the luxury of not having to bear the emotional burdens of that same world though, unlike pisces.
