I've never experienced it until now and it's so crazy because before our relationship was official we had some steamy conversations. It certainly helps. I think you are like him. When we were just friends I could tell he was holding back on the connection. Now that the connection is undeniable we can never go back to the disconnected fast, fun and free. It's like the roles are reversed and he's the feminine energy in the bedroom. That's not an insult or complaint, but that wanting the emotional connection is usually something women are said to want more.

Not at all. What I would say is that they separated sex from feelings and the need to exert so much mental and emotional energy having sex. It was mostly for the physical pleasure of sexual stimulation. I do overall like the passionate type, but not all passions engage the physical, mental and emotional.
It doesn't make him any less desirable. It's an enduring quality. I do wonder now if it ever seems more tiring than pleasurable...maybe too mental for something that should be fun and pleasurable.
