Here's an example, Dyr .... My husband would stop at the store and see some silk flowers, I love flowers ... he tends to the garden religiously ... flowers are definitely loved. So, he is at the store and sees these silk flowers and thinks ... "Angie would love this, just love it if I bought her some". Ok, so this is what you would consider the unselfish impulse. He will come home with the present and a big smile on his face ......... blue and white flowers, in a blue and white vase. Guess what? Angie hates the color blue......... HATES THE COLOR BLUE. He gets asks .... "Oh how lovely (lie), was this the last one (deception to find the truth)? Him ... "No, they had others too" .. still smiling because he thinks he was being a good boy, look at what he did? He thought he knew what was good for another person, acted on it .. and it turned out that this good deed was soley for his own benefit of feeling good about himself, and not really to my benefit. "Oh really? What other colors, honey" "Yellow and a green one too I think" Let's take a walk around Angie's house, shall we? Living room = Black, red and white Dining room = green Library = orange and green Master Bath = yellow and white Guest Bath = yellow, green, orange and white Master Bedroom = yellow, green and orange Kitchen = red and green Guest Bedroom 1 = yellow and white Guest Bedroom 2 = green, red and white His shed out in the backyard = blue

that the craziest logic i have ever read.. by that logic no one has good intenstions... its clear he didn't know she hates that color... if he did he would get the right color.. he got them bc he knew she would love it.. he clearly was showing how she makes him feel... if u really think like this about everyone i feel sad for u... only love can set u free... they say pisces live for love i don't see that in u.. i hope u find wat u r looking 4.

It may sound like crazy logic to you ..... and this is because you are a Virgo, so to you, to tap into the emotional side of a woman to make her happy, you can only rationalize it logically ... and of course it sounds crazy logic because it's not about logic, it's about feelings ... which you being a Virgo, you would have to be prompted to use to figure this equation out.

Why wouldn't you know after 27 years of marriage that your wife didn't know what her tastes were? I assure you he knows I don't like the color blue.

Here's the part I love the most .... Virgo prides himself on being very aware, being critical, being conscientious, being the master of his surroundings .... so, I ask you again ... why wouldn't he know his wife's likes or dislikes? After 27 years of marriage?


Virgoking, he lives in this house ... shits on these toilets, eats at this table in the kitchen, watches tv on this very living room ... and he is a Virgo. Go to your Virgo board and read how many threads you all write in honor of yourselves, so you can brag about how good you are in being conscientious, how you know everything that goes on around you ........... oh really?


I beg to differ.


You all like to BRAG about it ... but, in reality, you are oblivious to what is for the other persons benefit ..... what you are aware of is what YOU feel that makes you feel good.


Oh, and yes, I do feel this way about everything/everybody ..... most people do. Pretty much only Virgos are the ones who don't get this, maybe a few others.



If you are going to give a gift to another person FOR the other person soley .... then you are required to get them something they actually would enjoy and like .... if you put no thought into it and get them something they don't like, then how is it for the other person to enjoy?


If you don't get that, and it looks like you don't ... then you will end up another lonely Virgo, I'm afraid

It has nothing to do with being male, Dyr .... that is an excuse you love to use because you can't handle the truth.



My first husband (Gemini), a man I loved very much and lived with for 3 years (Libra), my father as he was husbanded to my mother (Scorpio), my brother as he is married to his wife (Scorpio), my best friends husband (Leo), a late man-friend of mine to whom I loved dearly (Aries) ..... ALL of the other men in my life .... I am either relating to them directly, or very closely and observe how they interact with their woman ......

... and all of them KNOWS, and ACTS on what thier partner loves and wants.



If my sister in law wants silver ... my brother does not buy her gold.

If my mother wanted a garden ... my father would plant (((((((((((RED))))))))))) flowers because she loved that color .. not yellow, not pink = RED

If I was dying to see the Stars Wars, my man friend took me to see Star Wars ... not some stupid Japanese Giant Lizard thing.





If you are to give a gift to another person and it is FOR ...... F.O.R ............ F.O.R ............. F.O.R.............. F.O.R.............. the other person, then you better be fucking paying attention or you're gonna be a lonely man.

Agreed ..... thought for your woman was not in mind if you buy her something she doesn't like.

Like I told the author of this thread months ago when she made it .......... she's better off in life with Virgos hating her, without them in her life, living would be much more harmonious and balanced .... because Virgos will actually do the shit I posted her and then justify their oblivion to thier partners desires by insinuating that the partner is too picky and selfish to want something they like.

Of course you don't Ian ..... most men buy exactly what the person they love loves.

i have to say that virgo board often looks like a war zone. i guess being argumentative naturally bring out many ppl's defensive or worst sides.

it doesn't look like a war zone to me... and p it sound like to me he didn't know.. we don't know everything we will admit to this its other sign who call us know it alls.. but if we do know sum thing than we are going to let it be know.. but for ur info i always know my girls fav color..whats his mercury sign i thinks its in libra sounds like it.

How can a person walk into a living room that is black, red and white ... and actually think it's blue?

Who has to be told what color themes is in the house in which they live?

If a person just arbitarily buys a gift without putting any thought into whether this gift would be liked by the other person .... then how can this be equated to = being thoughtful?


It's not in the gift, it's in the thought .... yeah, but, in this theory, if it's not thought about what the other would like, then it's being thoughtless, not thoughtful.
