True that...however the problem is "IT DOESN'T HAPPEN" just because!
In a perfect world or in the beginning of a relationship it might...although I've not seen evidence of it personally or with my friends.
I don't care for cut flowers.. I'd rather have a potted plant.. but bringing one of those is like murdering it.. I can't keep a houseplant alive :c
I have to agree. I like receiving flowers any day of the year. Bonus points if he remembers my birthday or our anniversary.
LOL Nefer...potted plants that come to my house may as well be on death row too!
Damn we got another born on 2/25....how many people here share my birthday? That gotta be the best day in the world.
Anyway, Mothers, Fathers, and Valentines Day should be replaced with a day called Common Sense Day, no need for them days cause thats stuff we do everyday whether you think about it or not.
Gestures of love shouldn't be only reserved for Valentine's day but it sure does suck a bit when you don't get anything...lol. I didn't but that's b/c I currently have no man...he he. I guess it would be hard to get a love gift if you don't have anyone in your life to give it.
It does make things more special when they are just given randomly though. 🙂

I think it's more special if it's just the guy happens to give her flowers on a Monday and say Happy Monday and not wait for the world to say, 'On this day, give your wife flowers.' See, if she doesn't know she's getting flowers and she gets them, she'll say, 'Oh, this is the most beautiful thing you've ever done for me.' I think Valentine's Day is just a day for candy makers and card makers to make some more money. I think you should be romantic on your own time.
