I find that they vary in intensity .. and I can't pinpoint what causes the change.

Sometimes, my vision, hearing, smell, etc is really sharp, almost to the point that it might be painful ... other times, I can be oblivious it's so obscure from my recongizition.

Do anybody else experience this?

Well my vision isn't clear I wear glasses hehe but I know what you mean with the sharp hearing and smelling very sensitive it's probably a fish thing.

The only sense I ever seem to have a heightened version of is smell. My hearing and vision are both sub par. Touch probably even more so! It doesn't really fluctuate at all.

Oblivion is where I wish I lived!

i can get rather psychic during that *sweet-spot* stage 'between' sleep & wakefullness. All senses pretty much on high-alert, even mental-creative faculties. I think it was Paul McCartney who found the song *Hey Jude* in a dream. Or movie directors getting ideas for filmscripts. So, there can be a real tangible element to it all, if given the chance.

I just thought it was normal...or that I was just weird...or that it was a Piscean thing later. It comes and goes though, somedays I can't see the anything from across a football field, other times I can make out in detail everything on the otherside.
Sound is kinda lost on me due to me and my love of fireworks. Though I found out through a military sound test, my right ear can't hear to frequencies, while my left can't hear two other frequencies. So I can hear with my right what my left can't. 😛

Also, does having the sudden sense that someone is about to enter a room no matter where you are or positioned in said room count?
