In my amateur opinion.
Scorpios deliberately keep things to themselves. Pisces are too busy with their heads in the clouds and their imagination to be present and reveal their ‘real’ selves.
This is my honest answer, not representing other people but only ME.
Scorpio are indeed keep things to themselves, but when they trust you, they will tell you everything.
But me ? not always, not because we dont trust you, but because i understand your intelectual level, emotional level, what you like and dont like, are you open mind or not open mind ? judgemental ? or not judgemental ? etc.
And based on that knowledge only talk or reveal the things that fits for you.

We can be quite secretive with other aspects such as answering the phone in private, not sharing our deepest feelings. When it comes to romantic interests we mostly show our love through practical things. For instance, we can do small, little and in some circumstances sacrifice ourselves in doing something major for you. Our actions most of the times do a lot of talking if we like someone.
I for myself, do not fall in love instantly, I will have to study you perfectly before showing I start expressing my emotions. Once you have gained my trust, the flood gates of romantic words will flow through controllably. I will become clingy to you, start expressing my deepest emotions to you.
Most people don't realize that Pisces aloof. We pursue our goals and visions in a straight forward fashion. Therefore, I journey to success will most probably take some time and people will think we are crazy. Then when we finally reach our targets, they say we are smart. I, for instance, hate taking short cuts in life, I would rather look crazy pursuing my goals than using short cuts. During this process, we might lose focus on direction but that doesn't mean are still not following our dreams. I call it passive-aggressiveness. This ensures that we get our most desired results, which are specific and durable. This applies to our love interests as well.
I guess this is what separates us from other water signs such as Scorpio and Cancer. Cancer has a similar way of handling things. Though Scorpio does it in a fiery fashion similar to Aries.

I can understand Capricorn better because it's easy to understand their motivation (usually work/duty or family). Even if I don't understand their feelings, their actions tend to be predictable. So, say for example, I work with one and I suspect they don't like me. I know he will most likely not do anything rash for fear of burning professional bridges. Casey's birthday is 19th March. Pisces - Aries cusp.
Pisces - Aries cusp is maybe THE WORST cusp to be in ANY kind of relationship with, not even casual friendship.
They constantly hop around the edges of borderline crazy/bipolar, one moment happy the other thirsty for your blood.
In my opinion it is because the soft feminine frame of Pisces is transcending into a flammable frame of Aries yet it has not fully transcended due to the date of birth falling in Pisces season, hence 2 sides of a coin fighting and tearing the individual apart from the inside.

I don't understand people in general but if there is one sign that I do understand the most would be Scorpio. What's so mysterious about them? With shit loads of Pluto aspects how can I not understand them. I'm the one that people shouldn't understand if anything.

Pisces are not mysterious as much as they are undefined.
Consciously or not pisces don't like to be defined which would account to being limited and prisoner of the bounds of this description made of them. Don't ask pisces who they are as they don't know and don't want to. Everything is possible, they are the sign of potential unlimited and unbounded/undefined.
It is in the nature of pisces to be undefined due to their position on the wheel of ages: they are between the newborn (aries) and the old man (aqua). They are the sign of death. Not of dying (which is in aquarius) but the actual void after death has happened, the limbo between two lives. They can see the impulse of a new life in aries and the ending of this life in aquarius, this is why, very often, initiatives can be deemed futile for pisces who can see the start and end of everything.
This explains a bit of nihilism.
But in the end, they don't remain undecided like libra. It is in their nature to make a choice, accept a definition and give the nudge to give incarnation to aries. So they do take decisions and sacrifice many things for one, but it can take time.
When they say that pisces is the sign of sacrifice, it is actually more about sacrificing other lives, other potentials, than sacrificing themselves. They cut branches.

In real life, people, and they're always some despicable human being (prob where my trigger is coming from) always wants to pick at this aspect of my personality. It's my personality to hide and conserve my energy and distribute it consciously. Just like a Sag is wired to divert to an optimistic mind frame. Just like a pisces escapes... So on. It's a personality trait, that's all.

I cant say its for everyone, i can only say this for myself.
I never care about being mysterious or whatever.
But I do hide a lot of thing from people.
Like my sadness, i hide it because i did not want other people to be sad too, unless if i trust those person and i know by sharing that, those person could help me out from that sadness. Usually people did not know about it unless i intend to show it to them.
I also hide a lot of thing that i think everyday, like something that require intelligent or emotional understanding or same hobby or like and dislike which "i think those person wont understand or even care if i ever talk about it" anyway, or if i talk about it, i know they will be judgemental about it etc2.

Wanna see "thug personality/clown act" ? see pewdiepie, he always act like he never care about people, trying to show that hes evil and without empathy without emotion which our society think of it as strength, and it could fool people which would think "hes evil or some kind of thug personality" who cant see the real him/his intention who did that so others did not see his emotional side/watery emotion/empathy which they hide because modern day think of it as a weakness or a weakspot to attack.

Btw, as a scorpio woman myself, I am proud of my emotional nature... Weakness included. But I think what you may want to consider is that scorpio is co-ruled by warrior planet mars... So the intensity and war-like aspect depicted within our personality, is ALIVE and well.
Usually if a scorpio Lols with harsh words his deep psychological nature that he loves indulging is getting quenched. It can be uncomfortable, awkward, and provocative, but he must go there... He needs that outlet.

Funnily enough i never found anyone to be mysterious, that is why i never attracted to someone because of their "mystery", because theres no "mystery".

They are so elusive and hard to pin down. Just a lot of emotional layers which is why I can never pin down their current mood lol.

"greatly affected by their environment", when i saw war on politic on the media, i begin to think about it and feel the sadness the anger etc and think about it, then i saw a dog in youtube or something sad or happy and i feel sad or happy too and think about it, and then i saw something that make me curious like chrocodile can actually run faster etc and begin to think about it, then when i go shopping i saw some poor people ask people for money on the street then i feel and think about it etc2.
Then mood change and keep changing and depend on that mood, my view about the same thing i think before this mood may change as well.
Unless you understand the many variation of those mood "what this and that mood like dislike temper way of thinking etc" and follow around everywhere everytime to see what i see, to experience what i experience so you can take a little guess at what MIGHT be what i'm thinking, its not possible to guess what im thinking or what im feeling at those time.
Because its not limited to "self ambition, love, interest or lust or family or my little circle or my little group my little organization my little company my friend my loved one or stranger", or anything, but its almost without limit and it keep changing every second based on the mood and everything i see.
So if the pisces you know is kinda like me "leave it be and keep positive" is the best way/a trully wise move.
Its no use trying to do the impossible.

Like i said this "clown act" is the act scorpio do when they get irritated or angry.
Unlike other sign who did not hesitate to show their anger.
Scorpio did not want to show that they are angry, or somebody irritate them, because they are too proud to admit somebody hurt their weak spot. So to hide it, they pretend what those people do have no effect on them by acting like a clown with their "lol" while saying a word that work as a poison which i call "sting" to that people.
