They wouldn't help me, but they would be there as an ear. I used to be with a Cancer for 4 years and when we ended things, I was devastated and my friends were all busy so I hardly got to see them. What helped me was that I was extremely busy, so I didn't have time to grief because my mind was always occupied. This relationship took me about 4 months to be over.
Depending on the situation, it would for sure take weeks. If my friends were consistently there, I think I would be able to get over the situation in about 1-2 weeks. It all depends. But definitely it would take longer if I had no one to talk to.

i'm glad you didn't open up that can of worms
it's so annoying when your ex-comes back
mine married and i realized i still had feelings
i didn't hit on her
but explained that i needed space because i still had feelings
it took me 2 years to finally get over her
and now every time i see her she hits on me/ flirts with me
her husband even tried to have a 3 some and encouraged us to hook up
the thought of doing anything with her in that way grosses me out slightly
funny how that happens
i'm in a tough spot right now, things weren't working and i wanted a little brake (didn't really want it but was forced to it ) and now she is ignoring me which is death like to me
But slowly i'm getting over it and i have my family and best friend who constantly or at least once in a while who check up on me or talk to me but i just want to be left alone

i just started the process of getting over my last love interest.
the one before was 2 years and the one before that was 2 years.
i'm hoping this one will be shorter
though the dreams were more frequent and intense in nature than with the last two women.
i actually rarely dreamed of my ex and the girl before that.
i didn't even really in hindsight want a sexual relationship with them.
with this girl...the girl i'm currently trying to get over ...everything was different
so we shall see
it's also funny that all three women were pisces.
pisces brunettes are my kryptonite.
I deal with break up right now. Honestly I need a company to forget everything, if I'm alone that's the worst, I might do something bad

If I cared about the situation or person-family and friends here and there until I'm fully recharged... I can't really say how long. Every situation is different.
Then I become stronger and gain new experiences, perspective and people.
I never swim back to you if you hurt me on purpose or left a bad taste in my mouth.
If I care- I will try but if you don't put energy back... It's done. If time passes and you can show you want me in your life and I really loved you as a friend I will consider it.
Never for a person I was with romantically.
Did something in the pass happen when you gave that person (romantic)
a second chance? Is that why you do not return to that type of relationship?

one moment you're fine and then another you just really miss them?

aka most of my twenties.
i met pisces #3 at 28..
i'll probably be in my 30s when i get over her.
but like i said i'm hoping to get over her sooner.
and yes....one day i feel really happy that we met and that i at least had some time to spend with such a wonderful person
the next day i think to myself that she wasn't that great and i was actually selling my self-short
and had low standards
the day after that i miss her like crazy...
today was a moderate day in terms of missing her...i'm happy though as it seems i am finally having days in
which i miss her without the heartache....
i'm taking that as a sign that i'm starting to actually heal.
i'm also coming to terms that i very well may never hear or speak from her ever again.
for me that was the worst thing about things going south.....the possibility of no longer having her in my life at all...not even as friends.

i've only technically had one relationship
one was a deep romantic friendship
the last was a friendship that had potential to be something deeper....
um so what keeps me going is the hope that i'll find a girl who possesses all the positive qualities
that i loved and were unique to pisces 1 , 2 and 3.
i'm hoping to find a girl who will be better than i can imagine.
there's 7 billion people on the planet
i think the odds are in my favor...especially since i'm moving soon
i know i'm going to meet all kinds of interesting fascinating people as i travel

It was honestly one of the hardest things because he was what I would consider my "first love" but I also knew that things would not change.
omg that is intense. I have not been in that situation yet, but my ex, the Cancer that I was with hasn't gotten over me and its been about a year since we ended things. But a Scorp and I recently ended things so it's been a little hard for me to get over. But I am taking space because I still have feelings.

I broke up today, it's not what i wanted , hell no but it was the only solution that would hurt me less in the long runI tried talking about it, tried making things right because i love her but in the end it was just one sided love, i always loved her and i didn't have to think about it but she was always changing
Can't say it's a fucking nice feeling but i was being ignored which i couldn't take it
