Are we scared to grow old and get all wrinkly?

no. not at all. I feel like I am getting better and better looking as I age.

Getting older means being more refined and better at the things you do. The knowledge, wisdom, and experience is priceless. I think that "youth" is wasted on the young. They don't know what to do with it. Although all the youngstas will swear they do. Hence, youth. I think I'll be young forever no matter the age.

Yeah, I am always mistaken for either 27-28 (6-7 years younger). I hope that lasts forever. Hehehe!!!

I admire the aged and experienced. I want to be as ambitious as possible while young so that I have all that experience to turn into wisdom when I am older. And I don't see my sex drive going anywhere, ever, so there goes the only bad part of old age lol.

Even though I look young, I seem to attract a lot of older women rather than those my age. I have been hit on by women anywhere from my age well up in to those in their 40's. I used to think it was a little wierd, now I take it as an ego boost. And of course...my girl has a few years on me and I admire the extra life experience. It is nice when you can set your ego aside and listen to someone who has been there and done that. I find relationships with girls my own age a little disproportionate in accomplishments and life experience. I grew up fast.

I have had that problem most of my life, which is why I always dated men atleast 5 years older than me. But, what I have found is that it is not the accomplishments and life experience that matters the most, but the maturity to actually learn and grow from them. Unfortunately, some people will never gain that, no matter how old they get.

Nah, women in my family age fantastically. I can't wait to be nearing 50 and still look like I am in my 30's. I still get carded, but it will all balance out in the end...

Alphaville's for two reasons: it was there first, and sounds more appropriate for this topic e.g. it's sung by a (then) young guy. Rod Stewart was old (he's a Grandfather) when he sang his version. So a different kind of longing is brought into the song.

I look about 16 and im nearly 25!! I get i?d everywhere, but i dont really mind...i think its more because im so petite, rather than just my face.

I dont mind getting older, i enjoy the wisdom, but i want to prevent wrinkles for as long as possible...yes, im vain.

For no particular reason, old people have so much tension and trouble in their life. I am scared to become old. 😢 I dont mind getting wrinkled though.

I need to keep my grandparents sucesses in the back of my mind. My grandmother stayed at home and took care of the kids and the house. My grandfather had his own welding company which was him, a truck, and contracts. He charged the oil feilds around $ 200/hr in the SIXTIES up through when he retired in about 1993.....they are doing fine and have no real worries. Thats how you have to do it. I keep that in the back of my mind.
