It's sad that the majority of Americans truly and wholeheartedly believe this is a Muslim vs. Christian war (as LS previously noted.)Because that could really not be further from the truth.
But that just goes to show easily American's are manipulated by the media and politicians. :/
Not to mention the fact that 85% of the country still hasn't woken up and realized Iraq/Iran/Afghanistan never had a single thing to do with the attacks on the WTC.

Tricky subject for a few reasons.

They are legally able to build this mosque, by that alone they cannot truly be stopped other than by means of violence...IE someone bombing that shit.

I think they chose this site for a reason, in their minds I suppose its like planting a flag on your enemy's demolished headquarters...why else would they choose it?
