Aries woman trying to understand Scorpio woman

I'm friends with a couple (Randy and Julie) who have a female scorpio friend. Their scorpio friend is currently seperated from her husband. (Soon to be ex-hubby is an Aries) I'll call the scorpio friend Melissa. My husband (who is also an Aries..lol...I know a lot of Aries people!) and I socialize quite a bit with the couple. Randy and Julie are a very social couple, have alot of friends and host a lot of parties. Melissa is usually there and she's extemely close to Randy and Julie. I'm having a hard to time for a lack of a better word fitting in or being friends with Melissa. To be honest, it really hurts my feelings. She's extremely dismissive with my attempts to be friends with her. There are few times she will be receptive to my attempts yet most of the times she's often cold with me. Being an Aries this drives me crazy!! You either like me or you don't. Should I just give up on my attempts? Part of me wants to be open and not give up trying. Another part of me (my pride mostly) says stop kissing her ass.

I think investment and time will make it worth it. Something to caution against is being superficial since she is in fact trying to get a read on you. As S-i-law has mentioned, try to show genuine pieces of yourself. I don't know if this is a male Scorp-only thing, but I am often uncomfortable being connected through other people. It seems at this point you both appear where Randy and Julie appear. Try inviting all of them out to something that's central to yourself. It would be flattering to be considered for something personal like that. If she doesn't bite, being invited is still appreciated, feel free to show some persistence in getting her to come along and if she doesn't for personal reasons, that's fine too. Don't take it personal.
