It's more than just the sun sign involved.Also, not everything has to follow astrological theory in order for it to work. if both parties like each other and can compromise to make things work, why bother with theories that say it won't work?
Killerwhalemoon..it APPEARS to be. But by appearance only, one never knows.
Id like to find out what the concensus of being in a different elemental relationship is like for people, I find it intriguing.
My parents pisces and sag, fought like cats and dogs BUT had a very special love for one another that always trumped everything so I am curious. I am an earth sun and Ive only dated natal water and earth signs (but with different moons, venus mars etc). so my personal experience is limited to the sextile and trine.
I cant deny Ive admired Leos, Libras, Aquarius, Gemini etc. and often wondered what if

My mom is a Sag and dad, a Capricorn.They're total opposites, in every possible way. They clash sometimes, but they love each other.
On a side note, I think its more than just sun signs. I cannot get along very well with my fellow fire or air folks unless their charts are dominated by earth or water...well, so far its proven to be that way.

Interesting. Ive never dated a Leo, but I always get along with you very well, though I'm a virgo. Most of the Leo men I know, know about astrology and the few that don't date or marry cancers end up with aries or libra. Those relationships don't usually work out though, they all seperate. I suspect Leos secretly like more of the introverted, nurturing type but with something else like smart or cool, intuitive a plus but they usually don't pick women like that to marry often preferring showier or louder, fiery types.

Is it just me? But I feel like Aries woman are often overlooked or just not cared for in astrology. This is my opinion in general from what I've noticed when it comes to threads, memes, compatibility etc.
I don't know many aries women, the ones I know of are all married to scorpios and other aries... a few to leos too. I always notice the fire sign threads have fewer people and postings, I just assume your all out living your exciting lives.

Yes, Ive witnessed the Venus to Venus attraction between Taurus and Libra, its quite magnetic. I feel the same towards Gemini.. the mercurial connection can be quite exciting.

Tbh I don't know many aries women. You ladies are an exotic breed, I hear exciting too.
I know a lot of libra women who have been burned by aries males or they cant deal with the fire, speed, directness etc. they find it off-putting which seems strange to me because not only are these opposite signs but its mars and venus!

Funny, a nurse I sometimes work with is a Crab and her husband a Lion.

Interesting. I have a female sag friend overrun with scorpio and she doesn't get along with other fire signs either, maybe all the water puts the fire out. But I'm fire void so its not an element I can completely grasp to understand why. If youd like to share your thoughts I'm very interested btw.

I also know a leo man with scorpio woman that been together for +14 years. he's so difficult and doesn't act like a leo would. short temper, dramatic (that's leo) , aggressive...

wow, that is an usual combination I have never seen last, usually the scorpio ends up obsessed and hurting. I think of p diddy (scorpio) and j lo (leo) but a lot worse for scorpio women. Leo sun men can move on quick too if they are finished.

I think on one of the hidden posts you wrote cancer male and sag female if I remember correctly. the majority of cancer men that I know are way into fire sign women, its like an obsession. Mine is a bit different, he likes introverted women like myself which is odd because of all the fire in his chart.

I like some virgo women too. It's because we are neighbor signs. A lot of virgo chicks tend to have mars in leo or moon in leo. In my experience chicks who have either are basically soulmate level compatibility for leo guys. I have never hated a chick with a leo moon or mars. They get me and don't judge me and i respect them.
I have a moon in virgo and always had a thing for the naughty librarian types as well as the crabs.
I agree with you about aries girls. I have no idea why astrologers says our best match is a aries chick. They don't see feminine or sexy to me at all. I used to like them but now i find them weird and annoying. I still like sag girls because of their good nature.

No, he had Gemini on the Ascendent as do many famous players including Charlie Sheen. They see too much possibility and if there is fire in the chart they follow their passions. I never thought they made a good couple at all. Of course rock stars love super models, all men love super models. Idk arieslady. We virgos seem to have a pretty bad rap and we're not usually on peoples top lists either. I always thought it was the most hated sign, I mean people bash us. But I hear you, I think I just made a comment about aries women above, but it was an observation only. The very, very few aries women I know have been really hot, type a personality, outgoing and fun with adventure. I always felt a bit boring around you guys and I try to keep up, I just feel out of sync somehow like I'm not fast enough, fiery enough, loudly engaging enough, maybe cause I'm fire void. Idk. I have that a bit less with sag's and I don't have that at all with leos. I'm worried my expressing my limited experience is offending you and other aries, which is NOT my intention. I would like to click with you guys .. You just seem too cool for me, but Ive tried!

it's a feeling. i dont know really...it can't be taught.
it's just something i know, been attracting leo dominants since i turned a teenager and became a young lady. I even married a leo moon, my first marriage. I'm married to a leo dominant as well now.
and after learning astrology, it's in your DNA, your chart.
people gravitate to you and you to them for a reason. that's a combination of DNA, your parents, and grandparents, and their parents and grandparents.
if you dont attract them, then you attract other energies instead. There's Always something/someone for everyone.

interesting perspective & good insight. I do think its automatic. As Ive said before my honey is a cancer sun and my other one is a scorpio sun. For some reason water signs with either fire or air moons tend to magnetize themselves to me. Its interesting. I really like the combination a lot.
