Eclipses, Mercury Retrograde and Relationships

Hey guys,

I have this long distance relationship that is a bit challenging lately. Since the end of June when mercury started his retrograde phase we started arguing alot, we were mad at each other most of the time and the communication was not good. July so far has been terrible, fights got verbally violent, there were also so many things going on in our lifes. I was finishing my dissertation and was super stressed and I'm dealing with sexual harrasment at work and he had financial looses and was dealing with alot of problems as well. I'm always accusing him of being distant and cold and he says that it's just my insecurities. I feel like walking on egg shells and like i have to save this relationship from a potential break up. I've heard that break ups during mercury retrograde and not long lasting, Idk if that is true. But do you thing that is mercury and eclipses playing with use, considering that he has alot of capricorn in his chart and I have alot of cancer?
