So DXP nation, Im curious, do you want things when you can no longer have them?

Like a relationship, once its ended, suddenly you want that person back? Or a job, suddenly it was the best job ever? Or some toy, it gets lost or stolen or destroyed and now its become your absolute favorite?

Do you think hindsight is 20/20 or do we color our past with fond memories versus the harder ones? Or are you just scared of the unknown and holding onto the past seems safe?

Also please state, your sun, moon, venus and mars.

Nooooo

I put my all into everything the first time around.. funny cause I'm the one they always regret losing and the one that "got away" I do you right from jump... once I'm gone don't have an epiphany cause I'll be long gone.

Speaking for myself, it depends on the person and the circumstances of how the relationship ended.

Some of my past significant others is a resounding HELL NO, while others I leave doors open. But I have never wanted someone or something based on the fact that I can no longer have them. I don't want them because they are unobtainable. However, maybe wanting them back is a "safe" bet. Not sure. I have, however, encountered exes of the person I am dating, coming back to try and come between us for the simple fact that they didn't want them to move forward.

nope

but when it comes to my stuff then I keep them because I like them, so I will probably whine non stop once they get lost, destroyed or whatever.

I still have my pjs and toys from when I was so little

don't touch my pjs, mugs or toys.

I'm so glad my scorpio brother is no longer toys murderer.

Yeah, probably my most immature personality trait lol, even if I have no interest in something or someone the fact that it or they aren't as available as they used to be makes me want it more

It's a really childish, egoistic thing tbf but yeah sometimes I can't help it

No. When I want something, it is because I really wanted it from jump, not because of a memory or anything of the sort.

With sex yes. Break up sex has always been more .... I don't know.... unrestrained? Than any other kind. So, more enjoyable.

Everything else - I can't think of anything that applies.

Libra/Gemini/Virgo/Virgo

That break up sex, right... leave nothing on the table!!

Interesting connection you're making between fear of the unknown and what is basically taking things for granted (OP title/initial question), but no.
