in my experience, it's only just sort of helped knowing... but sometimes not! the taurus guy i'm dating really threw me for a loop cuz he is NOTHING like the other taureans i know! i guess it helps to know the other placements in the chart to really get a good idea. it turns out after i did his chart that his moon is in aquarius and he's much more like that.

knowing their sun only helps me gain a little insight to their personality but, regardless, i am always myself. i think if u approach a relationship trying to mold urself around their sign personality traits then ur doing both of u a great disservice. ur not really being urself. ur only being who they want u to be. so even though i am interested in this stuff i really don't take it to heart. i'm a leo dating 2 taurus guys, been with a libra and a cancer, might start dating another cancer, and get along/befriend mostly earth signs. me and earthies aren't supposed to mesh well at all but that's so far from the truth! me and caps are especially magnetically attracted to each other. go figure!

i say get to know all the flavors of the zodiac if u can. just go into it with an open mind and heart. be understanding and accepting of the differences. u might learn to appreciate them.

It's a mixture of both, plus (reverse) psychology, too many lonely nights, roaring loud in the crowd (when not asking about dating/relationship help) and sometimes (or better make that quite often) a bottle of dew. Also a healthy dose of either narcissism, feminism or whatever else makes you fly high, generally generalised.

It either helps to support your cause or to blame something else than yourself for the misery. Just wisely choose what fits the moment.

Welcome 🙂

🙂 That was a very good hit.
Psychology specialists have pointed out that people will filter information based on what they want to hear.
In Communication Theory terms, it's called selective exposure. Internet search engines have had a lot of contribution to that in the last decade.

Still, it's hard to ignore common traits found in a lot of people belonging to the same sun sign in everyday life.

My opinion.
