Have you ever had horrible synastry aspects with your S/O but the relationship was great anyways? Or vice versa... where the synastry was amazing but the relationship was actually horrible?

I think it was @tizian that said despite extensive astrological research between couples he wasn't able to find any correlation about what worked.

So wondering if we're all wasting our time with this fucking aspects bs. lol.

The once case I had had some of the "best" and worst synastry aspects.

I could see both those tendency in that relationship at work.

I learned to put down the chart.

For me, reading a synastry chart is like creating expectations both for myself and the other person. And quite often expectations are vastly different from reality.

I once swore I will never ever date Cancer suns or Leo Venus people, lol look at me now?

The ones that I've failed I've had ridiculously difficult synastry with. Synastry reports were like in the negatives. Like someone said, sexual chemistry seems to be pretty accurate but let's say for example there's a spicy aspect like ascendant conjunct venus in synastry. Maybe you have it in synastry, if you don't, you could have it in composite instead, or maybe you don't have it in synastry or composite but have it like x's progressed ascendant conjunct y's natal venus. I'm sure there's other ways to justify that ascendant-venus energy. Basically it's all poopie.
