Every description I read of Moon in Scorpio and negative relations with mom I change the word Mom to Father whilst I read it.

I have moon in the 4th house and I completely relate to this. I don't like being so emotionally dependent.
I'm a Leo moon and my Mom is nothing what is described above.
My son is a Leo moon and none of the description describes me.
My daughter is a Virgo moon (I guess, sometimes when I look up her chart the information changes for some reason) and the Virgo moon sounds spot on for me. Especially the shadow description: unemotional, detached, and lonely.

I've never seen the moon sign as how a mother was with her children. In my experience never applies.
I see it more like how we are deep inside, what nurtures us, what we need to feel confortable, at home.
I interpret it like having a Cancer moon square Saturn for example, you need emotional support, a lot of care but your parents were cold to you and never understood your emotional needs (Saturn).

So are we supposed to be reading our mom's moon sign from that list or our own. The virgo moon description said nothing about my relationship with mom. I saw some of myself in the description though, but I've never been in a love triangle to my knowledge. The cap moon description sounded like my mom's personality for sure. She was kind of hard on me for being too sensitive. I ended up embracing my virgo moon side more and being afraid to show my pisces sun side.
It's weird cause you can have five sisters and brothers and they all would have different moons.

I used to have a very weird relationship with my mom, my mom isn't distant nor fit the aqua moon description. she's giving, generous, loving and overprotective we used to butt heads all the time, but we're cool now.
my mom also has mercury in aries, opposite my mercury in libra. we seriously suck at communicating with each other, I used to let my cap sister do the talking for me lol

My mother and i have same moon (sag) and sun(cap) but we are not similar in most ways . I quite fit my moon sign qualities where as she is more cap sun , to the best of my understanding ..but definitely not sag moon .
