So if a guy takes a potential lover out on a date for the first time, and the date starts after breakfast and gets over before lunch, is it courteous on the guy's part to keep food and snacks stocked in his car just in case?

I will answer your question once you talk about this fantasy of yours in detail!

I keep snacks/food at home to eat at home.

If I'm away from home and am hungry when I don't have a planned even where I might need food (picnic, hike, beach, etc...), I buy food if I'm hungry.

All I'm saying is you can plan for this and plan for that, but if I don't know someone well, I'm not taking them (or going with them) to the forest, thus there will be stores around.

If a guy took me out on a date and no food was involved I would feel attacked 😂. I’d spend the whole time talking about how starving I am. Don’t think your getting a second date.
