I love chick flicks! But it's just a movie and book that isn't totally right, don't take it too seriously it has some points here and there but it's not completely correct.

no offense but do you know why i thought this movie was dumb. The whole point is that there is no exception to the rule, but at the end every type of exception was realized.Back when the book came out all my friends read it and passed it around. And I was like its duh, that's common sense dude, (but, ok a little omission: I did pay a some attention to the breakup cus its broken book, but that was a really hard time!)
But anyway the movie does the exact opposite of what its saying, feeding women another fairy tail and hope for hopeless situations.
and that's just what i thought about it. it was cute of course, but it was still the same bullshit it's warning you about.

I love the frantic typing kitty...it's so cute.
I hate to be the one to disagree, but I hated this movie and the book..it's bull.
There are so many situation's/scenario's in dating, do you know how many relationship's with potential may have been shut down because the woman is going, "Oh my gosh he's just not that into me, he hasn't called, sent me flowers, etc."
All it has done has created man paranoia in we females.
Guess what ladies men are afraid too!! I have a single brother...he tells me guys are so darn afraid of the rejection most of the time, we don't make a move or call, thinking she'll shut me down if I call. So they freeze...pls don't assume its because they are not into you...ugh I hate it. If they weren't into you why in the heck would they have asked you out, approached you, asked for your number, flirted etc...
Remember the book is just ONE man's approach...all men are different. Just like we women are all different.
This is a myth about if he likes you he'll chase you down...bull bull bull. Men have serious FEAR. Double that if they have been hurt once or twice.

A perfect example of what I am talking about...this is a true story. Not sure I have all the details right.
Guy and girl go out (not sure who asked or who called who, doesn't matter anyhow..)
Date goes okay and they both like each other. Both wanted second date but did not tell each other during date for fear of coming on too strong, shyness, etc..
Well he never called her..she could not figure it out..she felt it and thought he did too.
I think finally a friend tells her to call him, she did, and was she glad she did because he told her he wanted to call,
but thought she wasn't into him/feeling it, etc. they went on second date and it turned into relationship.
See he most likely would have never called her and they both would be sitting there thinking "what the heck??"
I guess aggressiveness has its place, and I have seen the author of the book..he is no shrinking violet.
Sometimes guy may be thinking "She's not into me", and she might be thinking the same thing...leading to a dead end. When
in reality they both liked each other..that's why I don't like the book...it generalizes. It puts that idea in our heads
instantly.."oh he's not into me." And maybe it's something else!!!
Remember men are strong and confident yes, but NOT ALL of them.
A better book is "WTF Are Men Thinking"?
