what do you think of this? i think it is very unhealthy to meet others through this because you never know what type of person you're meeting or dealing with. of course, that's not always the case but i'm willing to bet there are far more crazy lunatics surfing the internet than there are normal people. the internet gives people the opportunity to act in ways that you couldnt possibly act out in the public. i personally think it corrupts the mind when you spend too much time on the internet and can cause a person to act irrationally and even psychotically. my only advice is to be careful who you chat with online so to avoid giving any personal info of yourself such as pictures, phone number, address, etc. because there are malicious low life psychotic losers out there who basically lives in this online virtual world. no conscience at all. there is no other world out there for them besides the virtual world. and they thrive upon the drama they cause in the virtual world. they see the thrill and excitement coming from internet drama. and to think, these people are probably not even on drugs but just simply psychotic.

but the internet is far more creepy and dangerous wouldnt you say? it gives individuals the opportunity to act in ways they would probably never act out in the real world. it provides people some sense of closeness when it comes to their thoughts, feelings, etc. im also willing to bet there are far more stalkers on the internet than there are in the real world. you can do almost anything you want on the internet and rarely do you get caught for what youre doing. you are in the privacy of your own home.

no matter what avenue you choose to meet someone, you have certain risks you need to be aware of.

someone who meets a person at a bar or at a party or at school, or even through church for that matter takes the same risks as someone who meets someone online.

sure there are those who have different personalities in the virtually world as opposed to the their personalities in "real life". It's a certain release for those people. A lot of people here are DXP live that life as well. I know for a fact that some people who say rude, cruel, threatening, etc comments wouldn't take a chance for saying it to their target in person.
