Snooping around in other people's phones, email accounts, etc. is like a drug. It becomes ridiculously addicting lately..... Like better be safe than sorry . It's not like I am looking for shady business. And it's not a trust issues, it's just plain curriousity π
β? Why would you read your bf's texts β
If you don't trust them then theres no reason to be with them, right?
if they give it to you to read sure, if you do it without permission or approval, then leave the relationship...
but the asker is a Scorp π
I say no....dont set yourself up to be hurt....its like you are looking for a reason to cause conflict
you are right dward417... hey P_A what's up with the hidden messageβββ
If you really want to know .. I'll tell you .. however, you may be sorry.
Other people would make comment about being in a relationship where you may not trust the other person, and is it wise to be in a relationship where you feel like you cannot trust him ... whereas my comment comes from the other side of the coin.
If you're the one snooping into other people's private matters, then it sounds to me as though you are the person who cannot be trusted ... not the other way around.
damn double sided coins
"Like better be safe than sorry . It's not like I am looking for shady business."
If you weren't looking for shady, then why would you be doing it for safety to prevent the potential of sorry?
con mucha exclamaci?n
Ok @ P_A πwanna be psychic, shake up that crystal ball again π and try again to tell me what you see . Always trying to twist thing on that mind of your .
F Y I. It started with a comment that he made, I don't recall how the conversation was brought up. All I know he said that he may have many friendzzzzzzzzzzzzzz but I am still his #1 princess.
Now some of you guys might say Awwwwwwwww how sweet. That was my first thought but then the Scorpio on me maybe it reading too much or over analyzed it. But if aim #1 how many more could be out there? Well I am the first that's what should matter right! Wrong.......
So a couple night ago I was bored could not sleeping and was tired of listening to his snoring, decided to go surf. Just so happen his cell phone was at computer desk so I decided to snoop and Boy did I found L that's all I going to say for now.
However I am still his sweet little princess, no confrontation YET but from now on they will be a through investigation. J
Don't worry I am not going to put myself thru that for long. Just need to get all the facts before it done. So there?s no mistake once it over, it will be a done deal.
I mean I did snoop , I am not proud of it . I don't regret doing it. I follow my instinct and I always do; that's what matter. And I won't stop until I get to THE bottom of things what ever that mean .If I stop now it could kill me π
I would not like it if my text are read
It's like reading someones diary; listening to their phone conversations --- imo, it's not acceptable, and I wouldn't do that to someone and I would NOT expect them to do it to me. R.E.S.P.E.C.T. If you don't trust that person, then so be it, move on...but when you start looking, trust me, you will find something....my .02 cents.
umm i like making fun of people's crazy psycho girlfriends so I make it a point to do the opposite of the things they do
If you find yourself doing that, theres a trust issue !!!
You may tell yourself that its nothing really, but ask yourself "why am i looking at someone else's texts?"
didn't have time to go through all the posts....
in regard to the question - "Is It Okay to Read Your Significant Other's Text?" NO.
If one feels the need to do this...I feel it signifies trust issues within the relationship. Definately not a good sign for a healthy successful relationship.
i've looked through someone cell before and i found some shyt i didnt wanna see so i started doing me cause i knew this bytch was no good.
"since logic dictates if I really want to stray I will not handle that part of my life on my cell phone nor on my personal e-mail."
Hahaha Hizaki, that reminds me of me. I remember when I was married to my first husband, he accused me of cheating, sleeping with one of his friends, and I guess he was looking for me to defend myself with some sort of denial .. instead I said something to the effect of ..
... do you think I'm stupid? If I'm going to fuck someone, I sure as hell aren't going to leave tracks for you to find, such as one of your friends. Give me more credit than that, will ya?
He didn't like that answer π’

"not good to snoop like that i dont think....anything you need to know comes out somehow anyway"
That's the damn truth!
"Some people say this is a violation of privacy. However, I think if there is nothing to hide, then why can't they be read? What are your thoughts and why?"
Why? What would be the purpose of going through your partner's text?
Their property so it's none of my business. I view it as extremely disrespectful, from ANYBODY. That kind of person shouldn't be trusted at all or considered a friend.
It was quite the opposite for me. Never bothered to read his private messages, emails, when he handed me his phone. NOTHING. For what? People will do as they please even with you knowing.
BUT he wanted to look through my phone. No way. I had nothing to hide but what's mine is NOT his.
it's only uncool if you're not pretending to be a private detective in a 50's film noir while doing it.
