Is there a such thing as "Marking territory"?

Understanding the Concept of Marking Territory in Human Behavior

Marking territory is a behavior often observed in animals to establish boundaries and assert dominance. In humans, it can relate to personal space, possessions, or social signals. While not as literal as in animals, humans may also display behaviors that signal ownership or status in social groups.

Yeah and I think it's sexy depending on how it's done.

Trying to kiss me, grabbing/slapping my ass, getting aggressive or passive aggressive, to "mark territory" is vile and I don't like it. I'll check that shit.

Innocent stuff like whispering "all eyes on you, I don't blame them" and smiling is sweet and doesn't reflect insecurity but rather says "I know other people want you but I don't have to worry because I know you're mine".

Is he grabbing slapping in public?

Otherwise no one knows he is marking anything...right?
