My roommate's girlfriend is around ALL the time.

Now, I love my roommate to death; her girlfriend has been a great ego/emotional/confidence booster for her because of all the stress she has been through over the past year and a half. I'm so happy to see her happy for once. I've even gotten to become friends with her girlfriend over the month or two they've been dating.

However, I'm starting to feel slightly irritated by how often this girlfriend is around. It's like they don't spend a day away from each other (which is a little untrue; during the school year, they didn't get to see each other that much); my roommate brings her girlfriend around me more often than others because I didn't have a problem with their relationship unlike some of her other friends. Anyway, I feel like I see this girlfriend every day now; my roommate and I live in a house for the summer until we move back into our apartment for school, and we share a room; 75% of the time, the girlfriend is sleeping over in the same room. At the moment, this roommate and I are housesitting for our other roommate and my best friend while she is on vacation, and so far within this week, the girlfriend has been over (spending the night) nearly every day. On the other hand, if the girlfriend isn't over here, my roommate is off seeing her; hence, I rarely get to see her, which is kind of normal because she was always busy, but this time, she's always with her girlfriend.

I guess you can say, while it's not the BIGGEST deal, I would like to spend some time with my roommate a little. I guess because I'm the type of person who does't need to see a person all the time, it sort of irritates my feng shui so to speak. And I'm also a little envious (thought I'd rather not admit it) because I don't even get to see the guy I'm seeing more than one a week or two.

I suppose this is more of a rant from exhaustion, stress, and a looming exam. And as I type this, I'm in desperate need of a shower because of how early I have to get up, but it's currently occupied by them. *sigh*

Oh dont worry, they are spending so much time together, they will eventually get tired of each other and get on each other's nerves. Your room mate will be back. 🙂 Good luck on your exam!

The girlfriend has some separation issues and is kind of possessive (her words, not mine), so I think I assumed she'd be around a lot. There are times when I don't mind it, but that's when we're all hanging out and doing something and they aren't being demonstrative. Everyone is a little iffy about their relationship because the girlfriend is NEVER single, and she changes girlfriends rather quickly. My apartment-mate and this girl got together in a time of need (for the most part), and the girlfriend has gotten numerous threats from mutual friends that if she hurt my friend and roommate, they were going to be extremely upset. Me and the other roommates in our apartment are the only ones who haven't said anything, but we're all iffy as well.

I like the girl, no doubt, but it's almost like, "I'm kind of tired of seeing your face everyday." It's not even that I rely on my roommate to have fun; we both have separate lives, but there are times when I kind of wish we could just hang out... or I just don't have to be around them both a lot of the time.

I'm not as upset now, but when I typed this, I was just very frustrated. I also felt frustrated because I was beginning to feel like I was taking the most of the responsibility when it came to watching the dog at my other roommate's house, and at our own summer home. There are two jack russells at the house, and I spend a lot of time with them; but when it comes to actually taking care of them, I feel I get the duty the most since no one is there at the time except me. She does help a lot when she is around, but that's bout 75% of the time.

ditch those fisho bitches i say and find urself a man..............................my lesbo friend came to visit me from a town i used to live at 4 hours away for a weekend and i gave her my room to stay in. Anyways we had a party and i introduced her to my other lesbo friend they just excluded everyone and retreated into theyre own little lesbo world and took the liberty to do theyre fishy buisness in my bed!

anyways when kirsten left back home the day after i saw on facebook they had changed theyre relationship statuses to in a relationship and they only knew each other for like a day and a half......WTF talk about despos
