Sounds corny, but a board game, like Scrabble? Loosen up with a drink and have some fun. My ex and I used to do it all the time. Remember, just be yourself! The harder you TRY the more awkward you feel and he can feel it.. 🙂

I thought scrabble too, but we play each other in words with friends so that might be too many word games haha. I do have monopoly though.. Hmmph.

Exo, that questions game sounds pretty awesome, I'll have to look into it for next time since I won't be leaving the house tonight. And we can't go out tonight either because my son will be sleeping. When I don't have my son we do go out and drink together and what not.
Really the only thing that comes to mind is cards lol. I wish there was more to do! Just not sure what wouldn't be corny as dazed said haha.. Or what he'd even like to do with me. I'd be happy coloring in a coloring book lmao obv no guy wants to do that.. I do often sit around with girlfriends and color tho while we gossip and catch up, ha.

Ohh dazed yea! That also reminds me of a fun topic. Similar to zombie attacks. Asking what'd you do if everyone on earth all of a sudden dissapeared, that moment, as you are sitting where you sit. I had an hour conversation with a big group of friends on that and it resulted in the the only boy in existence would be my unborn son inside me.. So reproduction was quite the funny topic in the convo lol.
Ill go with zombies tho. I can't even imagine where I'll slip that in but ill figure it out :p

Guy I have been seeing is coming over tonight. Usually we just watch movies, but I'd like some other activities to suggest. Like, we only watch movies. I still am ridiculously nervous and awkward around him lol, so keep that in mind, just sitting around talking is probably out of the Q. I wanna talk to him and learn more about him but we need distractions to break the ice. And we won't be leaving the house. Anyone have any suggestions for me?
Are the two of you casually dating? Because if so & all he does is come over, maybe he doesn't want to go on an "offical" date. Ask him about it & see what he says. There are so many other things you guys can do...Go to a museum, take a helicopter ride, go to the beach(before the summer is over)have an outing in a park with the two of you with lunch, horse back riding...come on, there's a lot of things to do, you just gotta see if he's on the same page.

Real & carbon, those are good suggestions, but we couldn't leave the house since my baby was snoozing in his room. So I was looking for at home activities. which are surprisingly hard to come up with when you're planning for a casual getting-to-know-you-still kinda deal. Dating as a single parent really changes the game!
Pretty much what I said in conclusion is what happened. In reverse order. Humph.
