Maybe the first scenario had a lot more danger to it?
The boys I’ve been accustomed to having sex with for the most part had intimacy issues (it’s a big generalization but I’d say it’s def a common denominator). With intimacy issues comes fear of eye contact, so maybe it just felt more special in those cases, like I won.

Perhaps view the eye contact as a form of a challenge, after all you are both laid bare.
To see it as who will dare remain open and vulnerable, during an act where you are both sharing a moment of great intimacy.
Maybe that change of perspective and mindset could help you.

And didn't you also say you were quitting school in January to continue to pursue the life style of being a hooker and in order to make more money? Finally, it isn't invalid for me to say so at all, since you do believe you are worthless and not worthy of love, as you have said so before.

I'm not confident actual case studies have been done. Also, I doubt any hookers would take part, as this would need to be a study done later in life, in order to truly determine the presence of "love" throughout ones life.
As a result of the shorter than average life span of hookers due to drug overdoses, suicide, or murder, as well as homelessness, I doubt there would be an adequate number of study group participants.
Well that's an interesting study to think about.

I used to love making eye contact with clients or other NSA partners. It gave me a feeling of control and overall made me feel sexy af.
