You know, when it was completely platonic friendship, neither of you had ANY attraction (you probably even were attracted to/dating someone else) and then years down the line you ended up together.

(not talking about that one time you may have had drunk/accidental/horny sex)

Something similar happened. We were friends, didn't see each other as anything more.

And then it happened.

I met @rockyroadicecream through dxp. She played hard to get, but eventually started opening up to me. We are planning to win best couples of dxp award next year 🙂

In regard to your OP, happened to me with three guys. One of them I'd met at a couple of mutual friends' gatherings and a year later, we saw each other again at another party and it went from there.

Another one I'd met from school in major related classes, and that was 2-3 years later.

The third doesn't necessarily count since it wasn't a relationship, but it was still one of those weird roundabout things where we'd met through work and down the road, it turned into a fwb situation.

Online shit is lame and overrated. I don't understand how people fall so easily for it, tbh.

Probably told this one on here before but who cares. 🙂

She was a colleague that I started talking to one day.

Back then I had a strictly no-colleagues policy.

She told me to give her a call if I ever went out with friends because she wanted to see some more of the city... That same night I met another girl that became my girlfriend. 😆

Fast forward a few months and I occasionally meet up with her together with some friends of mine since she lives in the same city as my then-girlfriend.

I dance with her on a company party and end up bringing her along to a friend from a different country that came to visit. Get an awesome massage at the end of the day. (She still claims that was what woke me up to her)

Still don't see her as anything than a friend from work.

Few months down the line I break up with my girlfriend and focus on finishing school.

That summer we hang out a lot and at some point on the beach I mention she would be a perfect FWB since she was going abroad for half a year. She completely surprises me by saying yes. O_o

We mess around for a bit, I start seeing her in a different light, and I end up going back and forth a lot.

Apparently around this time she told her roommates that it wasn't going to happen. 😛

Anyway, still didn't want to get involved just before she left so she moves by the end of summer and we have contact maybe once or twice.

When she came back we ended up meeting for drinks the first week and the attraction was still there. What follows is a lot of me squiggling, trying to act towards the rest of the world like nothing is going on and the both of us showing up late one day for work at the same time. Couldn't hide it after that. 😛

Been together 'officially' for more than a year and a half and I still love my crazy little Cancer.
