Probably because the fight didn't resolve the deeper issue.

Posted by LittleFairyIn fact it's the same with verbal fighting too. It brings more wounds ..more wounds bring more anger or resentment. And it also brings coldness and numbness to the needs of the other. Which will breed more misunderstanding.Posted by ChuckcemIn fact more often the physical fighting creates more issues and deeper emotional resentment.

Posted by LentoBull91Great point. I often use movies and tv shows as a great example of that since life imitates art and art imitates life. In the fictional world, the hero and villain are fighting to the death, the hero often always wins but does the villain respect the hero HELL NO the villain still tries to get back at the hero in anyway shape or form and that’s how it is in real life among human beings. The battle will rage on with the enemy, but the biggest battle will always be with yourself and that’s the truth whether you accept it or not.
Fighting never really solves anything just makes the other person more mad at you for whooping their ass. And just further escalates the situation not resolve it.
