Satanists like the “Church of Satan” AKA Laveyan satanists claim not to actually believe in Satan while actively modeling their religion around the Biblical Lucifer/Satan and opposing Christ and Christianity. It’s basically just edgy atheism and they claim to be the only ones who are “true” Satanists because they actually became an official church in the 60’s and want to distance themselves from the psychos who kill for the devil and what not. And also act like anyone whoever did something in the name of Satan or other demonic entities isn’t an actual Satanist either. Despite there being many different variations of Satanist groups in the world, just not as big or mainstream as CoS founded by Anton LaVey. The basic idea of CoS and Satanism in general is that you are a carnal beast that should give in to your sins and base instincts and be your own god, and the universe is a random chaotic soup with no meaning, but also follow these arbitrary agreed upon laws and rules of government laws and societies so as not to bring attention to the Church of Satan tm. So rebellious

So, assuming that Christianity is true and using that as the basis, no, Satanists would not be exempt from anything. The idea that Satan rules hell isn’t biblical or rooted in anything other than Satanic fanfic. In the Bible it’s one of god’s angels who looks over it. Edit: and one of God’s angels who isn’t Lucifer. Because he was one of his angels too

Can't call them atheists if their beliefs revolve around the existence of a higher being. And in order to to oppose/reject something or someone, you'd have to first acknowledge their existence, correct?

They're much closer to agnostics, who don't deny the existence of a higher being, but reject everything associated with that higher being.

I’m just pointing out the contradictions and absurdities in their beliefs and relaying what they claim to believe. What each individual actually believes, I obviously can’t know that lol. They (the CoS Laveyan satanists) consider themselves atheists and say they don’t believe in a spiritual world. CoS explicitly says this, it’s not speculation on my part. That’s all I was saying. But they also imply (or outright say, it’s been a while since I’ve read the satanic bible or talked to any CoS members so I don’t remember all the details 100% ) that they themselves are divine as human simply for existing...without giving any actual reason why lol. They draw a line in the sand between animal life and human life despite claiming humans are just animalistic beasts in a chaotic uncaring universe. None of it really makes sense if you spend more than two seconds questioning why they believe and do anything they do lol. You can be an atheist while using Lucifer/Satan as a template for your ideas, but it obviously makes the idea that they don’t believe in it all suspect for a lot of reasons... If you claim to just be a humanist organization why would you use edgy Satanic imagery and associate yourself with something historically associated with evil and darkness lol. Why the preoccupation with Christianity in particular. They’ll say they oppose organized religion and societal institutions in general but it’s not really true since they tell people to live by society’s laws. So they’re assigning some sort of objective moral truth to what humans decide while claiming to be about being an adversary to society’s restrictions and about individual empowerment, and taking your own path...Unless it’s by a path or religion they don’t like of course lol

Well I was wondering, if you’re a satanist do you get “saved” from the brutality of hell? Also what’s it take to be a devil worshiper? Church every Sunday? Prayer?

All this inversion in art philosophy music creates a totally new style . You couldn't have Richard Strauss or avant guard theatre without it.

Ok then comes LE VEY in the 60s

LE VEY LOVES NIETCHZE and PRYZBYWESKI but he doesn't understand them. He takes them LITERALLY. But emotionally digests the inversion. IE

He thinks there is a real thing called satanism. And satanism is good ...christianity is evil .

He takes EVERYTHING NIETCHZE and PRYZBYWESKI say as LITERAL...but what they mean is totally the opposite.

He takes Rand Literally but Rand never uses semantic inversion or any Figurative devices in her writing it's why its so bad actually. rand MEANS to be literal. You can tell from structure of her grammar. There is no emphasis. It reads like manual instead of a novel.

So he takes these three and creates his own beliefs based on his misinterpretations.

And so he ends up creating another Version of the christian church.

He fails to realize what he is READING with PRYZBYWESKI is a man who is tired of being demonized and tired of arguing and so simply tries another method . a good man is called satanic by an evil man .well .'SATANISM IS AWESOME BITCHES'

It doesn't work if you take it literally. Because any religion satanic or otherwise ....will end up being ....hierarchical hypocritical..yada yada

Le VEY basically creates another christian church it loses the EDGINESS of a counter culture or another culture demonized by mainstream society. BECAUSE IT IS MAINSTREAM.

He just creates another set of rules ...it's just another form christianity.

He was a bit of a party boy and kind of a showman. But like he just created another rigid system without much to offer in terms of revelation. Its just 'FOLLOW THESE RULES'

It doesn't invert anything in Christianity ....it attacks it head on. Which is what Christianity wants. It claims to be something attacked by Christianity ..when it has just been made up. It fails to recognize there were are actual cultures demonized that APPEAR EDGY etc ...that would LOVE to have this tag or label removed ..but they can't. It's in too deep. So have to go about it in a different way.

That is why satanism ..is mainstream. And boring. And plain and harmless. No one has EVER tried to genocide sataniists in REALITY....they tried to genocide weirdos or women ..or men who could read too much ( in russia as i said men were burnt more than women as women were too passive to be lustful but also very few women could read and many men could a bit and reading was actually considered evil and a route to the devil in russian the state and the church as always seen education and information as it's enemy so in russian state propaganda in the 1700's reading was portrayed as evil and most educated men as degenerate over simple pure farmers who trusted their orthodox priests and served without question yeah education in russia became edgy)

Anyway ...no one has every really tried to harm satanists. Why?? Ask yourself— But yet black people are shot ....women are assaulted ....men imprisoned for writing the wrong thing. Anyone heard of a satanist being imprisoned ?

It's why satanism ...is kind of laughed at ..it's not a threat. It's an OBEDIENCE to mainstream culture.

it's all bullshit. the arguements are pre-arranged. the devil is complete liar and will pimp you before eating you. there is a beastly devil presence on this planet. i'm shocked very few can recognize it.

the devil is a liar and hates all things beautiful. bc - if - it is said to be beautiful, it would be aesthetic, and therefore well-proportioned, and therefore harmonious, and therefore "just" or "of justice", and therefore balanced, and ultimately "of GOOD". such as architecture of beautiful buildings maybe old churches vs the grey prison-like appearance of ghettos. the entire sense of inspiration is removed in those places. its easy to devalue life and bad decisions are made when someone can try to see life as having no value.

the devil is jealous of God because it cannot create. it only mimics and distorts and mocks. it hates you too, bc guess who's image you were made in? guess wwhat part of you that is.... it hates you deeply.

also, the problem is that astrology is already highly suspect to be sleeping and involved with devil worship. it's a shame, because the sun, moon, and stars, map the heavens. no one looks at them. they are an interesting geometry without.
