DMV, it's good that you've distanced yourself from the friendship to think about the situation before making a decision. At the end of the day, if a friend can't grant you the courtesy of respect, they are not deserving of your friendship. As difficult as it can be, sometimes it's necessary to let go of people.

Even if one of my besties did sleep with an ex or whatever, depending on the circumstances, I could not see me totally deading her over that. We have carnal desires that are sometimes hard to ignore. While I would def be pissed as hell, I couldn't see me ending a friendship that has served me SO well for MANY years, over something so inconsequential (in the grand scheme of things)
