Naturally, but if your depression is such that you are walking on the edge of life and death, you NEED a helluva
lot of happiness to counterbalance that depression. Personally, if one were to believe in 12 life reincarnation theory,

After her reply, above, she sent me the image below (an FB app thingy)
She says:

Look at the clouds, (my name)

The image above was accompanied by a default message which says "The moment of Happiness we enjoy takes us
by surprise. It is not that we sieze them but that they sieze us."

"Look at the clouds" was one of our "couple sayings" we used to say to each other...... over 21 years ago.
She lives over 2100 miles away. We are not exactly in touch... not at the moment, anyway.

I'm still wondering about "the mission" - When I responded to her "stay strong, we have a mission to complete" reply,
I told her when I read that part, I was reminded of how I felt as if I was torn between being a man of war, a man of peace and a man strapped to a cross and sent down the river.

Sound wisdom, I certainly hope that is the case though it's real foggy and unclear as yet, But..

she was just trying to somehow comfort you and try to get you to see the bigger picture of life rather than focusing on your pain - divert your attention to the clouds in hopes that you might find some inspiration there ...

personally, I think life is a mission - I try to be better every day no matter what - some days I can't see my attempts and/or accomplishments; other days they glow ...
