I'm currently dealing with two of them. One is the cautious type, protective of his heart. The other just wants to fuck away the rejection he felt from another.
Yours sounds like he just wanted to get into your pants and then feigned heartbreak when he thought you boofed his friend. Tell him to get the fuck over it and act his age.
The way I smooth things out with my Scorps is I keep everything 100% real. No games of any kind, just pure honesty about where I'm going and how I'm feeling about things.
I only care about one of them, but I don't like to string people along so I maintain the same level of honesty with the other one as well. And #2 was honest enough with me as well, just wanted some no-strings distracting fun. But both me and #1 have trust issues. I also recently ended my relationship to someone I considered to be the love of my life, so I'm definitely not ready to go exclusive again. Too young, too pretty 😁
You need to figure out what you REALLY want. And then relay that to him. If he's capable of adult thought process, he should realize that you're being real with him. If he ain't mature enough to deal with it, give him the Christmas Worm + tell him to go fuck himself with it.

I'd say he's cautious because of what happened between you two in the past. It's cliché but they do take a long time to let go of past grudges. He may like you but from what you wrote he may still be taking his time to decide if you're trustworthy. We all know trust is a huge deal for Scorpios to even pursue someone.
From my experience, yes they do like to take things slow which isn't a problem due to me being very Earthy. Patience is the key. Just let it unfold naturally. 😊

look, i know it sucks to talk to someone who lays it on thick then disappears when push comes to shove. he may even try coming back around, once he notices you’ve stopped putting energy into him.
